A vulgar person wrote this in a forum which can be found here: www.billiardsdigest.com in the Non-Pool Related Forum in a thread entitled 5th Avenue Bus and Wendy. "If women only realized how much power they have..." Are there any passages in the Bible that one could use to reply to that? Thank you, Tom Bk. |

2 | Is the Old Testament obsolete? | Not Specified | TomBrooklyn | 67685 | ||
Is the Old Testament obsolete? I observed someone give witness publicly that some of the teachings of The Old Testament no longer apply due to changes that occured with the coming of Jesus and His dying for our sins. He continued that the New Testament superceeds and negates parts of the Old Testament. I am unaware of what, if anything, in the New Testament supports that position. Is he correct? |

She has no obligation to explain herself to him. She needs to more assertively make that clear to him. He does not control her. She is responsible for her own life. Unfortunately, I don't know offhand what Bible passages would apply to this. On a more secular level, she would benefit from reading When I Say No, I Feel Guilty by Manual J. Smith. |
