5 | Judgment of Infants? | Bible general Archive 1 | Nehemiah | 6158
Luke 18:16 But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Anyone who is innocent shall enter the kingdom. For all children of God there is eternal life. How then will they die and remain dead until resorection. In comfort to parents who have lost children, please do not beleive any foolishness. We know that we are living saved so that our children, children's children and so on may have the promise and enheritence. It would not even be worth living anymore to a parent who has barried a child except to know that our children are living in the spledor and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have faith in God's Word then you already know this. |

8 | Judgment of Infants? | Bible general Archive 1 | Nehemiah | 6247
Charis, wether trying to seem cold or not implying that an innocent child will be subject to God's wrath is cold. I beleive in the the Lord's GRACE and know that he died so that our children may have eternal life should they choose to abide in him. Since some may not have the oppertunity to choose would a Saviour like ours really let an innocent child, especially one born of a saved mother or father or grandmother etc., live in hell. I know better then that. Jesus is a loving God, and jeoulous. Hed does not want to give his sheep away. He will spew them (old enough to decide) out if they reject him (even then maybe some will be saved by grace).
9 | Judgment of Infants? | Bible general Archive 1 | Nehemiah | 6479
I apologize for implying that you are cold. But I know in my heart that all of God's Children shall inherite the kingdom until they turn their hearts agianst the Lord Jesus. I thank God for your ministry and your loving heart. I pray that ears will be open to God's word in your community. Praise the Lord and stay encouraged. Your sister in Christ Nehemiah |

11 | Salvation for children | Bible general Archive 1 | Nehemiah | 7539
Well, in a former posting some were discussing that some infants would not enter into the kingdome of heaven, which I don't beleive. But the uestion sparked another question within myself. How do I make covonant between the Lord and my child. I have been witness to dedication ceremonies, etc. I don't beleive in infant baptism but I want to know if people know of scriptures to support our children being devoted to the Lord or "Giving them back", so to speak. 12 | How do we make a Covenant with our Lord? | Bible general Archive 1 | Nehemiah | 7657
Great response. In a very due seasone! I have more questions now though. So, where can I find out more about making a covanent. I am realizing and appreciating my child's gift and longing to serve the Lord at a very early age. I appreciate the Lord so much for blessing me with a child. I just want to make sure I do my part. I inquired in a much earlier posting about convenent and got no real response. How can we make an oath or convenentwith God and will it edify the Lord's will for our life? |

13 | Jesus name baptism fulflls matt 28 | Matt 28:19 | Nehemiah | 4871
I loved reading the previous response that you posted. I apologies that this issue has, once again turned into a debate when we are clearly instructed not to debate the Word Of God. I feel blessed because of being attacked so many times about the Truth that I know. I know that the Holy Spirit is not a liar, and therefor, if I have received the Holy Spirit, with infalible proof, that I must be doing something right. Your previous posting gave me the food that I needed to feel full. My concern is, since "Christians" can respond in such an aggressive manner as some have in relation to this topic, is the Holy Ghost working in our lives. Thank you for your loving tone that you have excuded in your writing. I know that the Lord will prosper your footsteps because you are sharing truth with us all. I love you in Christ Jesus and pray that the Lord sends us councel as wise and loving as you. I ask this in the name of Jesus. |

17 | Tongues,where scriptures | Acts 2:1 | Nehemiah | 5042
Mark 16:17 "These signs will accompany those who havebelieved: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; Acts 2:3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spiri was giving them utterance. Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying. 1 cor:12;3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus is accursed"; and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:5 - Now I wish that you all spoke in tongues, but even more that you would prophesy; and greater is one who prophesies than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may receive edifying. Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. 2 For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries. |

I want to invite anyone who is interested in sharing the "truth" in the word of God and not depating it. It is clear that some are trying to acheive the likeness of Jesus. But, unfortunately others are more interested in arguing the word of God. I want to open another can of worms. However, i don't intend to turn this into an argument. I heard on the radio an evangalist speaking on prophecy. He said that we are not to prophecy in Jesus Name. Please help me concerning this matter. He also made a comment that we are not supposed to speak in tongues. I got a differnt understanding.
