6 | Is that which is abolised re-established | NT general Archive 1 | M.Royal | 185969
Hi Doc, Because although we are told to avoid contentions and strivings about the law as they are unprofitable and vain (Titus 3:9-11), we seem rather to avoid/ignore the advice and indulge in that which is abolished or no longer in effect (1 Timothy 1:4. 2 Timothy 2:23,24). We should as it is written abide in that which has been established (through Christ,by grace) and is profitable (Titus 3:4-8) M.Royal |

Thanks Doc, There is no problem talking about what was done undre the law, however it is when we try to impose that which they did under the law as though it was still in force, i.e. Tithing, Sabbath. M.Royal |

9 | effective use of faith | Gen 1:1 | M.Royal | 188331
Hello Mto, James 2:18 tells us that faith if it hath not works is dead. This was concerned with how we treat others, namely the poor that are among us, also known as works of love, or works of faith. This is in line with Christs command to love one another. So speak ye and so do as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. ( Love one another). Yours sincerly M.Royal |

10 | follow-up question | Gen 1:1 | M.Royal | 188363
Hello Mto, It is written, And whatsoever we ask, we recieve of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment,That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1 John 3:22,23. Also read 1 John 5:14,15. Faith must be unwaivering and sincere,it should not stand in the wisdom of men. it must be genuine.James 1:6-8. 1 Corinthians 2:5. 2 Timothy 1:5. 1 Timothy 1:5. 1 Peter 1:7. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

12 | Is tithing for today? | Lev 27:30 | M.Royal | 186132
Hi Kalos, According to the gospel of Christ concerning things that accompany salvation (Hebrew 6:9,10), when Paul and barnabas were sent to the gentiles, it is written "only they would that we would remember the poor" this is known as "ministration/collection for the saints (1 corinthians 16:1,2. 2 Corinthians 9:1,6,7). Further scriptures for study if you do not already have them. Acts 11:29. Romans 12:9-13. Romans 15:25-27. Please note, Ministration/Collection for the saints is not tithing. This is what God accepts as pure religion (James 1:27) M.Royal |

Hello Jeba Suresh Aaron, The following scriptures are what Christ taught concerning wealth/treasure, I hope they will be of use to you. with regards to verse 4 in conjunction with verse 5. Matthew 6;19-21,25-34. I close with verses 32,34: "for after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things,but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 15 | Which resurrection is used, 1st or 2nd? | Dan 7:25 | M.Royal | 189129
Knowing that according to Revelation 20:4-6. the saints that go through the persecution/tribulation from the beast/antichrist for three and a half years, are in the first resurrection, and the second is after that. Which one is used for the "rapture" resurrection, because as it is written there are only two? M.Royal |
||||||
16 | Which resurrection is used, 1st or 2nd? | Dan 7:25 | M.Royal | 189136
As there are only two resurrections stated in Revelation 20:4-6, which one is supossed to be the rapture? M.Royal |
||||||
17 | Which resurrection is used, 1st or 2nd? | Dan 7:25 | M.Royal | 189177
Hello CDBJ, According to the Rev.20:1-8. at the same time as the first resurrection satan is bound for a thousand years, during which he cannot deceive the nations until he is released when the thousand years are expired. Since satan deceives the nations during the reign of the antichrist and the first resurrection includes those persecuted by the beast/antichrist, that would mean that the start of the first resurrection is after satans deceiving the nations is complete, before he is bound. In other words no saints,no satan, no deceiving. Thanks for your imput I know this for some is monotonous but our hope is the expectation of Christs return and our reward in heaven. everything we do as christians is working towards this. Your Sincerely M.Cowell |

18 | Which resurrection is used, 1st or 2nd? | Dan 7:25 | M.Royal | 189179
Hello Kalos, With the understanding that according to that which is written the word rapture is not mentioned in the scripture, however according to its usage it concerns resurrections. The resurrections in Revelation 20:4-6 we are told that there are two resurrections (1st and 2nd). The first takes place at the same time as satan is bound in the bottomless pit. So what the bible teaches about the resurrections is what I agree with, in that they come after the man of sin has prevailed over the saints, this in order for them to be included in the first resurrection. The fact that the antichrist makes war with the saints ( as we are all called to be)cannot be fulfilled if the saints are not here. Revelation 13:7,15,16. cannot be fulfilled without saints I hope this helps you regarding your questions. Yours Sincerely M.Royal |

19 | When did "after" change to before? | Joel 2:31 | M.Royal | 187565
With the understanding that the scriptures used for the rapture refer to the gatherng of the saints on the day of the Lord, at the last trumpet which as it is written takes place after the tribulation and the sun and moon being darkened Matt. 24:29-31. Acts 2:17-20. When did Christs "after" the tribulation change to before or in between the tribulation? |

20 | I tithe because I wont to look like God. | Matt 6:33 | M.Royal | 187683
God is a God of righteousness which when we seek him and do as christ has commanded we become as he is according to his will. Tithing will not make you like God unless you have been commanded to tithe by him according to the law of Christ. M.Royal |
