Thanks, terrib. Yes, it does help. I was looking for additional scriptures to support the connection of the two verses, Hebrews 1 comes to mind. Thanks: Pi |

3 | Is the widow righteous? Does it matter? | Luke 18:3 | Humble Pi | 150475
Luke 18:1-8 We know that the judge in this parable is unjust/unrighteous, for Jesus tells us so in vs. 6. But is the widow righteous? Does it even matter? I'd appreciate any comments on this. Humble Pi |

Thanks, Doc. We're studying this parable in a mens study that I attend. After reading it over 10 or more times, I began to wonder about this widow and her "state". Sometimes I just try to read too much into these things. Pi |

6 | Why does paul start with this topic. | Eph 4:1 | Humble Pi | 150479
Hi shael: I think the answer is found in the word THEREFORE. This indicates a continuation from the previous verses. In Ephesians 3:14-21, Paul prays one of the most awesome and profound prayers for "every family in heaven and on earth", that means us, you and me. Once we get the truths of that prayer (who we are and what we are in Christ) deep into our hearts, we can walk in the manner worthy of our calling; we can become a prisoner of our LORD. I hope this is helpful, shael. Humble Pi |

Perhaps Philippians 3:7-14 will shed some light on that. Humble Pi
