I understand your thinking, but you give yourself away with this comment, "When in Rome do as the Romans do??" What did Paul say to the Christians at Rome: "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." (Rom. 12:2, NASB) Now, if we are transformed, then perhaps it DOES matter what day we keep. Be a Pentecostal if you like, but be true to God's word! | ||||||

No, this is not true. If you look at languages and cultures around the world, almost every one of which I am aware lists Sunday as the first day. In Spanish, for example, the seventh day of the week, which in English is Saturday, is "Sabado," or Sabbath. Now, why do you suppose that is, if it isn't to indicate something? | ||||||

In simple point of fact, yes: the Jewish people, who have kept the same day as the Sabbath from the beginning of their existence as a people. | ||||||
