Do you consider Rev 1:8 as an expansion of the Septuagint's "ego eimi o On" in Ex 3:14? Who is "the Alpha and the Omega" and what is it's significance? Rev 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." 18 | Why evangelize according to Jer 31:34? | Jer 31:34 | you | 233869
My point is that someone who accepted there was a new covenant based on Jer 31 would expect that God transforms their heart without someone needing to share with them. The Jer 31 passage just says God forgives but mentions no dependencies with it. I know what the NT teaches but I don't see how someone coming from that perspective would recognize it as the same thing or necessary.

20 | His diff relation to Creation Gen ch 1-2 | Genesis | you | 233855
So it is clear that neither you nor heman have any basis for the claims you make about the meaning of YHWH or Elohim. That neither of you really understood John 1:1. And you didnt deal with the clearer implicatons of YHWH not being the same as Jesus based on Matt 22:44 and Psalm 110:1. YHWH says to my Anon sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet. Have you read Phil 2:5-7? |
