(Joh 6:37) All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.(Joh 6:38) For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.(Joh 6:39) And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.(Joh 6:40) And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.(Joh 10:27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:(Joh 10:28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.(Joh 10:29) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.(Joh 10:30) I and my Father are one. (Heb 7:25) Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.(Eph 1:13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,(Eph 1:14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.(1Pe 1:3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,(1Pe 1:4) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,(1Pe 1:5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.(Jud 1:24) Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,(Jud 1:25) To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.(2Ti 1:12) For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.(2Pe 3:9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. |

Please explain, is there scripture that forbids doing this? Or is it that it changes the context of some of the verses?
5 | Does God give faith? | 1 Tim 1:14 | umagumadog | 154266
Hi Doc, I don't know that I have a particular doctrine persay, I just read and study my Bible and trust in the Spirit to guide me in Truth. To be honest with you I have no idea what these two doctrines you mention are. I do beleive though that anyone can be saved, but not every one will be. I beleive that Jesus paid the penalty of sin for everyone if they choose His gift 2Pe3:9, Joh 4:10, Rom 6:23, and if we choose to accept his gift of salvation God will impart more/other spiritual gifts to beleivers as is his good pleasure 1Cor chap 12 also Eph 4:8. But most of all I believe that Matt 37-40, Mar 12:30-31, Luke 10:27 Joh 13:34 take preeminence over all others. I don't know everything and I'm continuously learning, but, I know God loves me, Jesus died for me, and the Holy spirit comforts me, and I love Him with all my heart, soul, and mind.Thats my personal relationship with Him. |

7 | Does God give faith? | 1 Tim 1:14 | umagumadog | 154258
Also, I'd be curious to know how you scripturally support your statement: "Always remember that Christ Jesus didn't shed one more drop of blood, or receive one more stripe for anyone person than he did for ALL!" Joh 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Luk 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. Luk 3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. Luk 20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Joh 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. Joh 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: Joh 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, Joh 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. Joh 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. Joh 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; Joh 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Act 17:25 Neither is worshiped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; Rom 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. Rom 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 2Co 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 2Co 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Col 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1Ti 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 1Ti 4:10 For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those that believe. Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Act 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: |

8 | Is it sin to not have children? | Bible general Archive 2 | umagumadog | 154152
Psa 113:9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD. Pro 30:15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough: Pro 30:16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough. Isa 54:1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. 11 | prevent | Gen 2:16 | umagumadog | 149845
Forgive me brother pride and slothfulness caused me to stumble. I knew it was cherubims but couldn,t remember how to spell it so my embaresment (pride)told me to just put in angel in cherubims place instead of looking up the spelling so forgive me. As for the tree of life Adam had a charge to take care of Gods garden Gen 2:15 and we know the tree of life was there (because God tells us in Gen 2:9 the tree of life was in the Garden of Eden, also Gen 3:23-24) before Eve was created or ate from the tree of knowledge. So as God himself told man, man could have ate freely of it (but with out knowledge of whether it was good or evil) without consequence but after knowledge came and man realised he was already dead he could no longer partake of the tree of life. 12 | Adam and Eve, eternal security? | Gen 2:16 | umagumadog | 149791
Matt 4:4 What the word of God says about sin and death in the earth Job 1:6 Job 1:7 Rom 5:12 Eze 31:5-17 Matt 8:31-32 (just as Jesus cast out the demons and they went into the swine when God cast Satan out of Heaven and he went into the earth.) Matt 27:52-53 (came out of the grave, out of the earth. Jesus went into the grave in his coruptable body made of this earth same as everyone else but when he came out of death into newness of life he had a new body from coruption came in coruption.) Rom 10:18 (key term "every word") Brother don't be confused I never said or refered to a microorganism only the "dust that God said he created us from Gen 2:7. How can man be so puffed up (exept by the laws of sin and death) that his pride says he was the cause of the fall when Gods word clearly tells us Satan was the father of lies not man. |

13 | Adam and Eve, eternal security? | Gen 2:16 | umagumadog | 149779
Remember God not only told us how he created man (in Gods image of course) but also WHAT he created man with (dust of the earth)a study of the word of God tells us that dust was contaminated from the begining with sin and death. When God threw satan out of heaven and to the earth sin and death came with him. We find out in Job that satan was IN the earth not just on it, sin and death were IN the earth that God created man from. Sin and death where Jesus went down IN for 3 days! Now back in Gen 2 we find that man was already under the curse BEFORE man ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, man was acting already acording to the curse but until he ate from the tree and gained knowledge of good and evil man did not realize it. After eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil God REVEALED (gave them knowledge) the curse to man not placed it on man.
14 | Tree of life VS Tree of Knowledge | Gen 2:16 | umagumadog | 149775
Well we are told that after man ate of the tree of knowledge God removed man from the garden and then God put angels round about it to protect it. So before man ate from the tree of knowledge man could have eaten from the tree of life but afterwards he could not and God also tell's us why they couldnt. The Bible doesn't tell us if man did or did not eat from the tree of life before eating of the tree of knowledge but sense they couldnt eat of the tree of life after eating from the tree of knowledge would have eating from the tree of life prevented man from eating of the tree of knowledge?
