Hi, I have some bible verses here to give you. First of all Jesus has forgiven of our past sins yes God will keep us as long as we want to be kept, He did not force salvation on us and He will not force us to continue to follow Him either.John 15:6 tells me that I must keep close to Him or I'm firewood,Mark9:42-48 tells me to enter into heaven maimed or go to hell fully equiped, Gal6:8-9 tells me to die to self or reap destruction, Rom.2:7-8 says to those who persist in doing good....... but what if we think that we can never loose our salvation and complacent what then happens??? Heb 10:26-27 if we continue to deliberately sin expect a fearful judgemt of fire that will consume the Enemies of God. Yes we have free will and we can walk away from God deliberatly or decieved. The devil is a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. The devil came to kill, steel, and destroy.......

Hank I thankyou for your response.I didn't feel attacked in any way, how ever I do have some scripture to back up in why i believe in what i believe. We can choose to walk out of the will of God. When we put our faith in what Christ has done on the cross, we are forgiven of past sins, yes God will keep us as long as we want to be kept but He did not force salvation on us in the first place and He will not force us to continue to follow Jesus. We have choices and we can choose life or death. If we continue to sin we can expect fearful judgment fromGod HEB10:26-27.we do not earn salvation through works lest any man should boast,Phil 2:12 work out your own salvation in fear and trembling. Not that God's word is contrudicting for it is truth all truth but we have to keep ourselves from loosing our way getting cought up in the world, a friend with the world is an enemy of God. John15:6 we must remain in Him or we are like fire wood, again our choice to stay close to Him or not. Romans2:7-8 it is with persistence do we do good, therfore there must be a resistence to face that is working it out.Gal6:8-9 we deny our sinful nature to please Him or we reap destruction. in Romans 11:17-24 we see that God did not spare His chosen people He will not spare us. He will show us kindness provided that we continue in Him.There are some more verses to support in what I believe, besides i would rather live with the belief that there is a chance to loose my salvation it keeps me in the fear of the Lord and as well as vigelint. Do you remember Samson was close to God, but the world, or should i say Delilah stole him away and Samson didn't even realize that God had left him.It has been a real plesure Hank to talk to you. God Bless
