I was searching for this yesterday, but could not find it. I heard that he may have been around 30 or 40 years old and it seems like someone showed me the text to this one time, but now I can not find it. Thank you for the response though. I know he is portrade as being young, but I am not sure. If you find out anything else on this, let me know. I will keep looking also. God Bless, Scott |

5 | RAPTURE: PRE-TRIBULATION OR NOT? | Bible general Archive 2 | sdtaylor99 | 108079
Most people use Matthew 24, but they overlook this verse. Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. According to the Scripture, the elect are those that are in Christ and they are predestinate to become like Christ. Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. So here we see that our days will be shortened. |

6 | Who are the sons of God in Genesis 6:2? | Gen 6:2 | sdtaylor99 | 108075
I have come to the conclusion that "the Sons of God" in Genesis 6:2 are from the linage of Seth and that it is refering to the geneology of Jesus, which is in Luke 2. Thank you for all your help. |

8 | Thief on Cross discrepancy Mt vs Lk | Matt 27:44 | sdtaylor99 | 107870
I just heard a Preacher preach on this last night. He pointed out the fact the they were both malefactors. These were wicked criminals. All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, but the gospels are "according to" the person that wrote it through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Preacher that I heard pointed out that Luke gave a more descriptive detail of the event. Both malefactors were deriding Jesus. While one was saying "get down, get down," the other one got under conviction and realized that God had a plan for us though His Son, Jesus. He began to say, "stay up there, stay up there," and Jesus said, "Verily, verily," which means that He was saying, "Amen." I hope that this has been helpful to you. Keep growing in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. |
