Dear markhaus,Galatians1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-7 which is really no gospel at all. Many things are going on in the background here, as we study Acts all the way through from chapters 1-28 we have many examples of different sects teaching against all the Apostles of Christ trying to destroy the church. The examples for the Galatian churchs are given in Acts chapters 14 and 15.At this time the church had begun to center around Atioch in the region of Galatia. The answer is true.God Bless rpvzgc

Dear Jenson,in response to your documentation taken from CRI,the Churches of Christ are not a movement. They are simply Christians that meet together each week on the first day of the week which are trying to pattern their worhip of God through Jesus Christ as did the First Century Church. The movement called the Restoration Movement which was started at the turn of the century of early 1800 is more accuratly the examle that is needed to be given in your reference. These Christians had no intentions of starting a new Denomination or Religion, but to simplify and eliminate the traditions of men from the worship.Their desire was not to separate Christians but to unify and to help them to realize that the reformation from the Catholic Doctrine only achieved another traditional form of worship. These congragations only desire to worship God through Jesus Christ as the Christians of the first century were taught by the Apostles as directed by the The Holy spirit. I know that there are many false teachings of the Gospel today in the Christian world, but the Churches of Christ I attend each week on the Lord's Day are not a cult by any means.God Bless You Jenson and I pray that you will continue to seek the truth of the Gospel and speak the name of Jesus Christ boldly, because His name saves us all.rpvzgc

Dear Roger,as I read your note I was reminded of Ecclesiastes12:13 Now all has been heard;hear is the conclusion of the matter:Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is thewhole duty of man. When I study this scripture and maditate on it,I am always comforted to know that God is faithfull to those who seek Him in truth. We also can look at the prayer that Jesus gave in John17:20 for all believers and recieve much peace and joy to know that we follow and obey a Savior that prays for us to the almighty Father so that we might be saved.Peace to you! rpvzgc
