The Lord chose for the Jew's exploits, good and bad, to be written down for us to learn from. We are all capable of the same issues even here in the 21st century. This is one of the things that makes the Bible so relevant today. | ||||||

The definition of insanity: doing the same things over and over but expecting a different outcome each time. The Jews liked victory and deliverance but wanted to live their old life of disobedience and expect a new outcome of blessing. |
