Hank I think you should be a little considerate for the new believers? Maybe someone wants to hear from someone with more knowledge without having to search through all the different posts? There's never enough talking about anything that is of Jesus Christ. You can read scriptures a thousand times but it will be one time that that word will bring light to your soul than any other time. |

5 | Honor the Sabbath | Ex 20:10 | faith531 | 53623
Jesus tells us to obey his commandments, if we don't we don't love him. Matthew 19:17 tells us to keep the commandments. Matthew 19:16-19 says "and, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there in none good but one, that is God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, WHich? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, htou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, honor thy father and thy mother: and, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Now, what commandments are those he tells us to keep? Jesus did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill. I believe that we should obey his every commandment including the 10 commandments.

That is true the Holy Spirit will lead you to observe the Sabbath Day and will not lead you to break a commandment of God. God's word tells us to obey all of his commandments not only some of them but all. I pray that God will lead you also to honor the Sabbath Day also.
8 | Divine Healing? | Matthew | faith531 | 53575
God's word tells us in 1st Peter 1:24 that he his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness by whose stripes we are healed. God does heal and it is not his will for any to be sick. You must understand and search the scriptures on the healings that comes from Godwhy some are not heal. Faith has a lot to do with our healing, without faith it is impossible to please him. We have to first build our Faith in God so when the enemy tries to attack us we will be ready to fight and win the battle. Healing is one of our benefits that God gives us Psalm 103:3 states that God healeth all of our diseases. There is more to it than naming and claiming it. You have to have faith to really believe that he is able. The Bible clearly states that by his stripes we are healed. Reference scriptures that will probably help in your search. Mark16:15-18, 1st Peter 2:24, Matthew4:23, Is.53:5, Acts 14:9, Deut.28, Is. 6:10 Also read the scriptures in the Bible in the Gospels where Jesus healed the lame and blind. Jesus heals Matthew 4:23,Matt.9, Mark 2 and several others. You have to search out these scriptures and see what the word says. |
