There is a Name that is above All Names! That Name is Jesus or God! When we say hallowed, that is just another word for HOLY! So what we are saying is Holy is Thy Name. It's just that simple.
2 | Jesus said PRAY THIS PRAYER | Matt 6:9 | dosaquies | 47430
I believe the Best Prayer to Pray is "The Lord's Prayer". It covers Everything! I pray this prayer everyday. It is a way of "Life" for Me as a Born Again Believer. If Jesus told His Deciples to Pray this prayer, then it's good enough for me too. 1.When we pray in this manner, we are expressing to God what we think about Who He is, and that 2.His Name is Holy. 3.We are praying for His Will to be done, 4.asking Him to give us what We Need for Today! 5.We are asking forgiveness as well as forgiving others. 6.We are asking for direction for the day and protection against Evil. 7.Last but not Least, We are telling Him how Powerful He is.
3 | THE LORDS PRAYER | Matt 6:9 | dosaquies | 47425
Christian corrections... Often Christians are quick to execute discipline to young believers... and doing so they assume the position oh the Holy Spirit (thus becoming "a god"). I apologize to the writer below "the goddess" who is obviously a new believer to the skilled eye, and ask Hank to consider his approach to these "young children". God is able to bring correction in due season. We mature christians need to be "gentle" and realize the power of our words. Christ did not highlight the fact of the woman caught in harlotry, He just simply forgave her (Love).
