3 | did adam and Eve ever get forgiveness? | Matthew | dddburns | 42015
I respect your opinion but in my opinion they did not confess their sins. What they did was blame their actions on the actions of someone else. Adam says it is because of her that i did what i did and Eve did the same thing. At the point of Conviction(which means"cause to see") in Gen 3:7 the first thing they did was try and cover it up and then hide. God asked them what did THEY(specificly) do not what did someone or something else make them do. They did not except resposibility they shifted it and said because of someone else i did what i did. They did not out right say that "I did it".
4 | did adam and Eve ever get forgiveness? | Matthew | dddburns | 42004
WE must note that while the bible does not give an account of them confessing their sins. The act of forgiving had to done first. The Bible says that He is the Author and the Finisher of our faith, so the act of forgiveness Had to be before the act of confession. God would always show man who He is first before he ever ask man to do anything. He also never ask or told Adam or Eve to confess their sins because he never had to but they did try to cover their nakedness and their shame immedialtly after their eyes were opened to evil, Gen 3:7. The testimony of righteousness is always God's first and not man's.
