We are warned against temptation in our walk with Christ, which is upward and holy,as we unlearn a lifetime of filth and sin. Our salvation is assured by the promise of Christ in Jn10:28 [and I give eternal life to them; and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of My hand.]A debate may arise on the issue of a true salvation experience,but no debate can arise on the permanence or eternal value of salvation. It certainly isn't an out so that we can continue in sin without fear or regard for the consequences, as there is always a consequence for sin. But if we believe that He chose us, then we believe that He sealed us, and that no one, not even ourselves, can snatch us out of His hand. | ||||||
