Two problems with your argument: 1)Where to read in the entire NT that the thief was NOT baptised. John, was preaching baptism for the forgiveness of sins before this, and Jesus and His disciples were baptising. 2) He COULD have been baptised, commited a crime, called Jesus Lord as an act of Repentance. | ||||||

It is baptism of water. Just as it is water in Acts 8, and Jesus came up out of the water. It's water. Baptidzo (greek) to immerse. Water. | ||||||

How can one be saved, then, get baptised? The verse says one goes with the other. In other words you must have both, belief and baptism to be saved. | ||||||
