hi, cheers and greetings in Christ the Lord of Life and Light i am answering this question assuming you havent read any of what i have written b4. this is tricky but i suggest you welcome this soul cautiously without being too insensitive, with the intent of deepening her Faith, Hope, and Love, the eternal elements of our spiritual life and total being (search the NT and Psalms) she could be a mystic she could be a Charismatic she could be a Pentecostal/neo-Pentecostal she could even be a Catholic or she could be an unbeliever who could be stirred by Godly Faith to be freed from bondage to sin and the old life meditate the Scriptures to know the heart of God, remembering that the pure in heart will see God, as promised Jesus in an early Gospel Sermon b4 the masses |

what i am saying, and what from my reading my church elders in Singapore who like to quote such Scriptures believe, is this God promised Abraham he was his Reward David called God his Portion in the Psalms so when a Scripture refers to financial wealth, the very fact that financial wealth is used as THE basis in that verse or chapter for comparison with something else, usually a spiritual blessing shows that it is viewed as basically being Good by God and saint and church. |

Rom 1 20 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (AV) Prov 3:1-35 1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep etc. Rev 19:10-11 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. (KJV) Prov 3:1-35 CHAPTER 3 1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: Rev 19:10-11 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. (KJV) 1 Sam 10:8-27 8 And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do. 9 And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day. 10 And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them. 11 And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets? 12 And one of the same place answered and said, But who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets? 13 And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place. 14 And Saul's uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And he said, To seek the asses: and when we saw that they were no where, we came to Samuel. 15 And Saul's uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you. 16 And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But of the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not. 17 And Samuel called the people together unto the LORD to Mizpeh; 18 And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you: 19 And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands. 20 And when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to come near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken. 21 When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found. 22 Therefore they inquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff. 23 And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward. 24 And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the LORD hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the king. 25 Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house. 26 And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched. 27 But the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought him no presents. But he held his peace. (KJV) Eugene Peterson, a Presbyterian scholar-Pastor who wrote a paraphrase of the Bible coined the Message and the Message Remix (as a second revised edition) seems to agree with charismatic Benny Hinn in application of this passage that even kings and rulers can become prophets though EugeneP may not be Charismatic, his writing interests Charismatics who quote him to the masses. eg Planetshakers n Hillsong Church |

4 | How human-like is God | Exodus | chesshores | 205179
God saw Moses as a man with a moldable malleable heart ("spiritual heart", noted Senior Pastor Rony Tan, in a past sermon at a Healing Miracle Service, in his church, Lighthouse Evangelism, Singapore) ((expanded comment on "spiritual heart":spiritual heart has nothing to do with our organic/body/bodily/physical heart, though having a morally corrupt spiritual heart can result in ill health even to the physical heart. Hundreds of years ago when horses were used for transport and war, the best thinkers (philosophers, courtiers, writers, knights, nobility, royalty, poets divines etc) of the Western kingdoms in agreement with much of the Ancient World (China, India empires and kingdoms etc) determined and concluded that emotions, higher thinking and spirituality is closely tied to the spiritual heart (((part 3 more info expanded comments (((you may note that the best person in the Bible to write of the spiritual heart, King David who wrote many Psalms, wrote during this period, when another major world religion that stays to this day was also thriving (developing richly) in India. God saw Moses' true reasons for killing suddenly the Egyptian. Pharaoh, the Law Lord of Egypt and Chief Justice, didnt. Pharoah, in a move distorted by many films including the cartoon the Prince of Egypt, issued an royal order (-decree) for Moses' death (it's in Exodus KJV see blueletterbible.org) God here is shown to show wondrous mercy beyond compare, in providing escape and refuge for Moses, disciplining him as a Shepherd and providing for him to be the Door and Leader-Prophet for Israels exodus to the Promised Land away from slavery in Egypt Grace and Peace in Christ Jesus Wisdom and Discretion and Discernment of the Spirit, with his Fellowship and Direction |

i may also add that you cannot ignore the basic context, that financial and material riches, or temporal blessings, or earthly treasures etc. are used as the standard to gauge wealth against spirituality, and not something like nature or angels or earthly empires and kingdoms or even rulers!! :) so money is important and an answer to everything in a very central sense
