1 | Why Gospel of John date important for me | John 5:2 | cac1777 | 122645 | ||
I appreciate the answers and discussion from all in answer to my original question. There is a purpose behind my question, dealing with a fictional story / play about the interactions of first century Apostles and others, which happened behind-the-scenes of some writing(s) which became part of the New Testament. With this focus for this fictional work, nothing blatantly inaccurate versus actual history can be allowed. What your answers provide is a range of dates that does fit in with the story line, rather than contradicting it. If you see a work (if our Lord wants it completed) named 'Soldiers Stories' combining fictional elaborations (not contained in Scripture) with actual first century developments, this thread has contributed. The Biblical inspiration for this started with the last two chapters of the Gospel of John, and an Easter play that I read this year. The effort is exciting to me; I am seeking to make sure I am obedient in all things dealing with its' development. I thank you all in Christ. |
