May I digress a bit and say that if I believed as you do regarding the Gifts of the Spirit - it would be much easier to descern who the Wolves in Sheeps clothing are as well as who all the additional false prophets are and so on. I will say good bye for now - but I have not forgotten your constructive comments. Thank you |

You are right - there is no difference to Father whether we are Jew or Greek etc. Since you are Baptist - I believe in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Do you? I hear over and over that Baptists say the Gifts are not valid anymore. I believe I understand Pre-destiny and Free Will but need to study your thoughts when adding in faith and repentence. the way you presented the case is new to me - so I go study it. |

1. I do not believe in once saved always saved. Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. I think Gal 5:19 also shows that believers who are so to speak saved will not have eternal life if they do these things. 2. Regarding the Thief - I use the KJV for you. (Luk 23:43) And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. As I said - you may not understand how I communicate - but these scriptures and more definitely communicate to me a clear message. Again - we can learn how to communicate by clarifying our comments to each other until we realize we agree. We can not both use the same scripture to mean two different things. Therefore if I find myself in error - I will repent as I do not know everything at all - but I also did not grow up in the Christian world so many things about Christianity do not make biblical sense to me. The Thief is a curious subject - but is better understood if we take the Book of Enoch into consideration. and the book of enoch is referred to atleast two times if not 3x - both in the Old and New Testament. |

Having reread what I wrote - I think you have chosen to assume some things because we communicate a bit differently. I will try and communicate more clearly to others in the future. Now - I am a Jew - Hebrew - Israelite - Believer in Messiah Yashua. I am not a Christian although many would like to classify me as one. I have been baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit. I believe that Yashua died and was resurrected and is at the right hand of Father G-d. My DNA is programmed Hebraically - not Helenistically. That does not mean we are at odds with each other - but it does mean we have to learn each others communication language. So - let us start by you telling me who you are and see if we can agree on how to communicate better with each other. Remember - Hebrews are an Eastern Culture and Christianity is based on Western, Hellenistic thinking. |

Hmmmm - I will study and get back to you on this. How ever - you assume that one is given the Grace to repent ( meaning their name is written in the book of life ). They have the free will to refuse the grace to repent which would eventually get their names Blotted out of the Book of Life, just like those that First Repented and got saved and then decided to turn their backs on the truth as warned in the Letters to the 7 Assemblies of Revelation - Beware I do not blot your name out of the book of life. I take it you believe that once saved always saved. If that is the case - then I will surely give you scripture to prove the opposite. But I will study your thoughts and get back to you. 2. Yashua said to the Thief - today you will be with me in Paradise - he did not say Heaven or the Heaven of Heavens where the throne room of G-d is. This neither tells us the Theif was saved or not - I will grant you that my opinion is that once Yashua spoke to everyone in Paradise - at the very least, the thief said - "I Do". 3. I was proposing a question to be studied - maybe being a Jew and asking a question with a question is not what others expect to hear - but it may help them to want to study more on the subjects they ask about. I will reread how I wrote things based on your comments and see if I need to change my presentation to be more polished - thank you for your comments. 4. Need to reread what I wrote first. Will respond shortly. |
