1 | Does separation from God mean no love? | Bible general Archive 4 | Scooter | 196395
So perhaps love, hate, light and darkness as to how they are perceived within our finite minds are not being seen in their pure form. I would think love not from God can be mixed with perversion, envy, greed, jealosy, etc. Therefore I need to conclude that perhaps these emotions can exist sperate from God, but with God they exist pure and perfect. |

2 | why did jesus have to be crusified? | Heb 9:22 | Scooter | 165820
I am new here by about 20 minutes so I'm going to be very careful of what I say. I am not a pastor, scholar or anyone that is a expert, but I do believe that blood is basically representing life. I also believe that the sacrifice of animals blood was only a representation of the blood that Jesus would shed. I also believe that to God, there is no such thing as time. He is the beginning and the end so tomorrow to him is no different than yesterday. I believe time is actually part of the creation, and when this world is created new there will no longer be time. So now to the blood part, God is perfect and the only thing that separated us from Him was sin. Once separated, God could have chosen to let us stay forever that way, but in his love he devised a way to come down Himself, in the form of man, to pay the penalty Himself. It has to do with justification and sanctification. Someone had to pay the price, and being no person that ever existed could do so, God had to pay it himself. Without a sacrifice of Himself, being perfect He could never look down and walk with man again because there is no darkness in light. There is no hate in love, and there is no sin with God. So why blood? Because a price had to be paid just as the modern criminal must pay the price. No animal or human blood could ever have atoned this feat, only God coming down as a perfect man could do so. If all man could be separated from God by one act of sin, then likewise all man can be regain God's forgiveness through one man, who was God himself shedding the perfect blood to pay the price and justify our sins. |
