3 | Do tongues relate to worship in context? | John 4:23 | Restored | 122439
It looks like we cross some denomination differences here, so it is best to agree to disagree and remember our purpose is to edify not prove who is wrong or right. Yes it does have to do with our worship especialy in our private time with God. Paul speak of speaking in tongues of men and angels 1Cor.13:1 and goes on to say but without love and I think this is the greatess love for one another, not that anyone is more knowlegeable than the other or more spiritaul.1 Cor.14:39 Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. |

6 | Can a divorced person remarry? | 1 Cor 7:15 | Restored | 116614
The scripture that you are using here is based on a marriage with a believer and a non believer. If you will back up to verse 10 and read to verse 16 the bible is saying that the leaving part should be on the unbeliever. Now read verse 27, I believe that it is not God's will for divorce, but there are somtimes circomstances that lead to that and yes God does and will forgive us if we ask, but I believe to walk in the character of Christ in which we should do, is to be merciful as He is merciful and do everything we can with heip of God to keep our marriage.Start by speaking with your Pastor. If you do not have a relationship with Jesus, then this should be your first priority. My wife and I were not saved when we married and we were on the verge of seperation and before this took place we submitted our life to Jesus and now in May we will be married 18 years.Have we had bad times, yes, but now we have someone that never leaves us nor forsakes us that helps us through. |
