Kalos, you have a very, very good point. My choice of the adjective was incorrect. Bizarre would be more appropriate. The commandments in Lev 13-15, in my opinion are pretty bizarre if not sick. Why would the Creator [i.e. God] concern (Him/Her)self with the menstrual discharge of a female [Lev 15:19-15:33]? Should the male homosexual male be punished as in Lev 20:13?? What about the female homosexual? [Note: I am a male heterosexual and not homophonic]. You see Kalos, I could go on about the laws God given unto Moses and Aaron all night. But it is late here on the West coast. Final note: thanks for the adjective correction and the dictionary link. * Paul Samson * * Kirkland, WA. * |

Well let's see Steve, you are citing the epistles of the Apostle Paul as a justification for ignoring the original commandments. How does Paul justify this conclusion based upon the teachings of Jesus? Or is this just wishful thinking on the part of Paul -- thinking (or hoping) that this is what Jesus wanted? Based upon the teaching of Matt 5:19, Paul "shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven." |
