Peter, good to share this information with you. I was just chatting with a very good friend of mine and certianly a man of God, in my point of view, and he said thatit does sound legalistic and that God does not place things like speaking in tongues as a prerequisite to being saved. I believe that God gave us His Son and that all we have to do is follow Jesus, repent from our wicked ways, and we are saved! Praise and Glory to God. My hope is in the Name of The Lord. |

I realize that we are going to have some differences here and that's OK with me. Another resource I've learned to trust is called the CHRISTIAN APOLOGETICS and RESEARCH MINISTRY carm.org Please go there and read what you can on the topic. It's well written and I'm sure you will appreciate it. Follow this link http://www.carm.org/oneness/tongues.htm |

I was listening to the Bible Answer Man today, Hank Nahhegraf, and he suggested his book, The Bible Answer Book. I t can be purchased at any Christian Book store. If I can say more about Hank...He has an important part to do with The Christian Research Institute. This is worth it, I would suggest anybody to look into this and purchase the book"The Bible Answer Book" Apparently speaking in tongues is a predominently Pentecostal tradition, and can be considered legalism. Please go to http://www.equip.org and you'll find a RADIO linkn on the right. Praise God for the type of help we have through radio and the internet. | ||||||
