1 | What does "THE ARM OF THE LORD" mean? | John 12:38 | Magdala | 39390
Thank you all for sharing your personal views. They have added to my store. popdzl, you offer an interesting perspective but Ray came closest to THE HEART OF YHVH for me in this matter. I'm sure you had no idea how close you came to the revelation YHVH is trying to teach me to walk in at this time. We are supposed to imitate YESHUA(JESUS), and we all love to do it in those things that are not difficult. But it says in: HEBREWS 5:8. "Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered." Here we learn of a different thing -- SUFFERING! This something we want to make foreign in our American culture but it is THE WORD OF YHVH and I have learned it really is the way to true obedience and surrender. The more severe the suffering, the greater the revelation. YESHUA, THE ANOINTED ONE(JESUS CHRIST), gave HIS life, (HE DIED and LOST FELLOWSHIP WITH THE FATHER), for my salvation and all that goes with it, to bring me HIS GREAT REVELATION. The acceptance or rejection is my choice. How can I expect to be like HIM unless I also suffer to learn obedience? It has been my personal experience that this is true and I would not trade a minute of it. At this time YHVH has me praying for the revelation of "THE ARM OF YHVH -- HIS HOLY ARM." This is why I asked the question. When this month began I had the flu, which degenerated into pneumonia and since the body carries several difficult diagnoses it quickly became a matter of needing YHVH'S intervention. The medical care I was receiving was to no avail. YHVH called upon several prayer warrior friends to intercede (I did not even tell them I was ill), and YHVH stopped the deterioration. When I was able to be up for more than 1 hour at a time, HE began to speak to me of "THE ARM OF YHVH; HIS HOLY ARM" and I know that I know it has to do with healing. This is a new area and will bring us into a closer relationship with HIM. YHVH had been leading me to pray for HIS INTERVENTION, BY "THE ARM OF YHVH, HIS HOLY ARM." Today, for the first time since this onset my blood is within normal range for glucose and the body is not exhausted. PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME AND GIVE THANKS TO OUR GOOD YHVH! HIS GREAT ARM, HIS HOLY ARM, HAS INTERVENED and I am well on the way to complete recovery and restoration. Thanks to all for the part you played in my blessing. May your blessings continue daily, while it is yet called today. Magdala |

2 | What does "THE ARM OF THE LORD" mean? | John 12:38 | Magdala | 39327
This question was never about JOHN 12, in any version, that is someone else's position. Ray; I appreciate your input. The "arm of THE LORD" or "HIS HOLY ARM" are the center of what I am in search of. Neither definition is YESHUA, THE ANOINTED ONE, (JESUS CHRIST). HE is truly GOD and truly man. HE is one of THE TRIUNE GODHEAD and as such, is not/cannot be, the "ARM." HE sits (as a whole PERSON) at THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER, ever making intercession for us. I do know "THE ARM OF THE LORD" has to do with protection, healing and wholeness. Magdala |

3 | What does "THE ARM OF THE LORD" mean? | John 12:38 | Magdala | 39303
Those are beuatiful words but they do not assuage my quest. There is a mighty and powerful meaning in the help from "THE ARM OF THE LORD," and we need to understand "HIS HOLY ARM," and what it means for us so we can grow in HIS HEALING,GRACE AND MERCY! Perhaps no one has any more information than I have alreasy gleaned. Magdala |

4 | What does "THE ARM OF THE LORD" mean? | John 12:38 | Magdala | 39286
Thank you YBIC. That is an interesting hypothesis and not the first time I have heard it. I am so glad you took the time to look up and offer Scriptures to those who do not know. I have this hunger in my heart and spirit that we are missing so very much of what is enwined in these words and I will seek until YHVH feeds that need. |

5 | What does "THE ARM OF THE LORD" mean? | John 12:38 | Magdala | 39285
Taken from NASB at this site. You are incorrect. Not all sources are cited. PSALM 98:1 O sing to the LORD a new song, For He has done wonderful things, His right hand and HIS HOLY ARM have gained the victory for Him. Isaiah 51:9 Awake, awake, put on strength, O ARM OF THE LORD; ISAIAH 52 10 The LORD has bared HIS HOLY ARM. My question was never if it is in Scripture, I know it is. The question was,and is, by way of seeking information to exactly what these phrases mean and how important are they to believers today? You missed the whole thing. Magdala |
