1 | Is it by works or by grace? | Luke 11:8 | Kango | 57898
Apparently you misunderstood the context of my note. The context to which I was replying was should someone pray over and over the same thing. For example (if a person want a house, should that person ask the LORD for a house every time they prayer?) That's the context for which my reply was based. I know that man is always to prayer and not faint.

You have to have the faith that God heard you prayer the first time. You do not necessarily pray for the same thing over and over again. Though God may use certain situations and trials to make you pray about over and over in order for you to build a relationship with him. When we pray beleive that God heard us the first time(I cannot remember the scripture at this time) and then make your prayers, a prayer of thanksgiving. The prayers of thanksgiving can be prayed over and over again, but if it is a prayer of petition(ie you want something from the LORD) providing that your motives are correct then you only have to prayer one beleiving that God heard your prayer.
