4 | Jesus' advocacy towards poor | Mark 12:43 | Jules | 85335
I clicked your identity here to find your profile, though "prazn" is as much as I found. I like your response with Matthew 6:33.
5 | Jesus' advocacy towards poor | Mark 12:43 | Jules | 85155
Here are some good ones: Mark 12:42-43 Luke 6:20- Looking at his disciples, he said: "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God." Acts 10:4: And he, gazing intently at him, became frightened and said, What is it, Lord? And the angel said to him, Your prayers and your [generous] gifts to the poor have come up [as a sacrifice] to God and have been remembered by Him. |

Free Thinker, some really good sources are Josh McDowell's works. His publications are convincing.
8 | "Ask and you shall receive" | Matt 7:7 | Jules | 57835
I have been thinking. I do believe people can produce good fruit in their lives. I have not given up hope in the goodness of others.
9 | "Ask and you shall receive" | Matt 7:7 | Jules | 57834
Actually, I am unsure of the Biblical evidence for God taking people. I heard about a good child being taken to heaven, and the story is from 2 Kings, when Joash's life is spared by a human. So God did not take him out of here at that moment, just showed him mercy through a human. Your question, "Will not all people appreciate His kingdom" is something to ask a seminary graduate, which I am not.
10 | May we be in 'perfect harmony ' | 1 Cor 1:10 | Jules | 57347
Perfect unity is God's will according to Romans 12:2. I appreciate your sincerity.
11 | Jesus Ministry described and defined.... | Acts 10:38 | Jules | 57331
You have helped me see clearly Jesus' mission. Isaiah 58:6 is like Acts 10:38.
12 | The hebrew for soul means life | Gen 2:7 | Jules | 56800
We should love the Lord with all of our hearts, souls, and mind. When the Holy God's seed is planted in my heart, we-God and I- share life in perfect unity. 2 Peter 1:3 |

13 | The Life That Lives | Luke 24:49 | Jules | 43600
My Utmost for His Highest is a classic without comparison. It is online at ServeHim.com in the devotions column.

15 | distinction.....scriptures and inspired | 2 Pet 3:16 | Jules | 34464
Colossians 1, which Paul wrote, is one of the most profound revelations of how to pray. As Jesus stood firm when He was tempted to throw Himself down, I would not change my perspective on the authority of this book.
16 | New Testament .... Did God speak to man? | Acts 10:10 | Jules | 33981
In John 1:43, Jesus calls Andrew to be His disciple by saying "Follow me."
17 | distinction.....scriptures and inspired | 2 Pet 3:16 | Jules | 33980
Your ninth line is not right. The Scriptures, according to the Cambridge dictionary, are the "Bible, including the Old and New Testaments". So everything in the New Testament is Scripture.
18 | sermon snippet | Rom 1:1 | Jules | 28701
Thank you for this motivating piece.
19 | The Word of Life! | 1 John 1:1 | Jules | 22805
John has presented Jesus as Comforter so well, too. In John 13, Jesus washes the disciples' feet. He shows us that how we consider others is more important than doing things our own way. He tells Peter to relax and provokes him to live as a new creation.
20 | Worthy of Honor but not of Respect | Eph 5:33 | Jules | 21728
You've shown a high level of maturity by expressing yourself about honor. I like your opinion. Philippians 4:8
