Lionheart, Eph.4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. What is the word in this verse that you are referring to? or what is the critical interpretation of this text in which you are interested in? Are you trying to ask about time and place with this scripture? |

No problem, I think that is what I understood you to say. That's why I said that the cause, i.e means is Love.

Beja, By all means ask. How else will God's people see eye to eye? In response to your reply... First let me just say that I believe justification is a righteous process, therefore a pardon of sins have had to already taken place and that would be repentance. However I will try to explain how I see it. Sanctification means to be set apart or aside. You may ask aside for what? Peter best describes this in 2PT.2:20-21. So in a sense, the sanctification is done by God. How does God know who to sanctify? He knows by the seal they will have (2Pt.2:19 and Eph.4:30) which only comes by the baptism of the holy spirit. Once the spirit of God is working inside, we begin to pray in the spirit and it will help us in our weaknesses. Paul said in 1Cor.14:15 ... I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also. Because the spirit will help us understand better the truth of the word of God (Jn.16:13) As we continue in our walk with God in prayers, in fasting, reading, and studying we begin to learn of him and of his great love (Mt.11:29). That Love causes all things that come against us to work for good, (Rom.8:28) because we are to glory in tribulations (Rom.5:3)... it will cause us to walk worthy of His calling (Col.1:10, 1Thes.2:12) which is predestined. That is not a set thing, it is a matter of choice, because not all are automatically children of God... My point, is that its both working at the same time. We are being sanctified at the same time justified, sanctification cannot come without justification and that is not of ourselves lest we should boast and say that is of what "I" that saved me (Eph.2:8-9). Remember he is the potter and we are the clay, he is molding us and shaping us for his use. It is however up to us if we are to be vessels of honor or vessels of dishonor 2Tim.2:20. Faith in my understanding is in fact the truth we have learned, applied in our lives. It is what in fact drives us, just as it drove those in the old testament (some mentioned in Hebrews 11). So if you allow me to interject here my definition into the scripture in Hebrews 11:1... By THE APPLIED TRUTH OF THE WORD OF GOD IN DAILY LIFE is the substance hoped for, the evidence OF ETERNAL LIFE not YET seen. That is how we are made fit for the Master's use... Hope I was clear... |

Hello Beja, Thank you for your question. God himself has created that pattern of "make" he didn't just "set" things in the sense of putting things the way they go. He created a process, and a process that must be chosen by the person. Jesus said in Jn.8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. So in the continuance of his word meaning doing it, living it on a daily basis, will make that person free from the bondage of sin (which is death). God begins a work in those who chose (I keep saying chose because in fact there are people who chose not to live for God) to live for him. That work is the process that MAKES us sons or daughters of God. That process is the adoption process spoken of in Romans 8. In contrast when something is "set" there is no process, it just is. Please look to Gen.1:16-18. Therefore the way or process that I see in being made is the pressing way towards the mark of the prize of the high calling. God's people will not be "set" there, they will press their way towards it with the help of Jesus through his holy spirit that is shed abroad upon our hearts. |

7 | do animals have souls? | 2 Tim 2:15 | Jsph | 229440
Answer... Please notice Psa. 49 and notice what the psalmist says about the fool in verses 10 to 13. Also in Eccl. 3 verses 17 to 22... the term sons of men here has a negative connotation that is why Solomon is comparing them unto beasts. Hope this helps. |
