1 | In Matt 25: 6 is it about us being ready | Matt 25:12 | JoyBell_1943 | 157383
There was nothing touchy feely about my question as the scripture is posted and the question was very clear and not emotional. At my old age, my purpose was to share scripture first and then ask the question for us all to examine our Holiness and readiness for the bridegroom. There is a definate contentuous attitude lacking love in your sharing and there was no intent on my part to do anything but challenge us all to study to show ourselves ready to go. Sad about your assumption of me, all I read and all I care about is each day lining my life up to the word of God, living it each day and I too, have God's Spirit in me. Please don't give me your opinion as it has tarnished my purpose for the question. Sad.
2 | In Matt 25: 6 is it about us being ready | Matt 25:12 | JoyBell_1943 | 157364
Each one concentrating not on anyone else..only washing their own lives and being at a state of readiness to be watchful and listening for the Lord to take us home. Each of us have different doctrines, different versions of the Bible and each of us has a unique calling of God. The soundest doctrine I want is to be in me for teaching and admonishing me and guiding me so I can be a vessel of honor for Jesus. Being filled with the Spirit is not going to be disected here in anything I write, nor do I mention any preference in any version that anyone chooses to read and study from. In these last days, let the love flow out of cleansed filled with God vessels. Separate all the knowledge, and for each of us to not rather teach or preach or share scripture but to each take care of our own vessel in preparation. The letter of the law kills but the Spirit gives life to the hearers. Oh..To be filled with God is to be empty of your own existance apart from His moment by moment presence in us, filled with His word in our spirit, not carrying a book around, but allowing verses to come up in us to teach us so all that comes from us is love, joy, peace, and we are cleansed ready vessels excited to be with our Lord. I may speak, sing, pray in tongues more than some, but it would be senseless if I did not flow like a river with His love and joy and acceptance of every soul HE wants to bring words of life to. Out of the abundance of our hearts, does our mouth speak...just a note here, I am a simple woman who has memorized in her heart scriptures for 55 years and not minded myself in things too high for me. God just gave me this simple sharing today and this was not meant to be a Bible quiz question. One thing I will not ever get into on any question is to find fault or argue or be in any contentuous discussions. Here,,,The lamp signifies your vessel; your body and house. The container we leave behind when we hear that mighty shout. Only those who watch, and only those who stay filled and ready and burning bright will Jesus recognize as His own bride. Those who have cleansed themselves,,,hear me, those who have cleansed themselves, washed their own and are standing in white linen which signifies the righteous acts of the saints of God. Pure, Holy, sanctified and halleluja this ain't my home type of readiness to hear His hand on the door knob of our hearts, amen?
3 | In Matt 25: 6 is it about us being ready | Matt 25:12 | JoyBell_1943 | 157352
The question is: Does the lamp needing oil of the wise and foolish brides represent the readiness and fullness of God's Spirit in us? |

5 | I want my wife back | Bible general Archive 3 | JoyBell_1943 | 157328
Thanks for the reply. In every case the Holy Spirit will make it clear. Living a Holy life of righteousness in Christ, the Holy Spirit said my marriage bed was defiled and he was unclean. His pride and his unrepentent heart is why he is not even "seeing" and two years have past and I have not missed him being in my home one day. His idea of forgiveness was to sign my guest book on my web site and that was why he got on with his life and told me to Get a life. Even if you get counselling from man, listen to the Holy Spirit, God forgives you but the sad thing is, you joined yourself to another woman and became one with someone else. God has since blessed me with the most beautiful gentle sweet Christian man I could have dreamed of in my life, so I too, have to be open to make myself vunerable again for a relationship hoping God will keep us one. What sometimes happens is the husband repents, treats his wife "as Christ loved the church" she never lets him forget, and sometimes obeys people and not her heart to reconcile and then you end up being miserable. You may want her back but keep your eyes on your serving Christ and being all for Him and His kingdom and God may raise up a new work for you.

7 | Can one be christian and NOT a disciple? | Luke 9:23 | JoyBell_1943 | 157321
When we ask Jesus to come into our heart and are born again by His Spirit, we are "Christian." As we yeild our as Paul said "members?" we die to our own will and ways and flesh and the world and pride and we are yeilded to HIS Spirit, and in HIS word...HIS word in us,, the fire of HIS Spirit IN US causes us to then be deciples of others. When we just take a Bible as instructed, or share scripture as we are religiously taught, we have a tendency to antagonize not spiritualize the blind out in the world. ONLY when the HOLY SPIRIT draws us do we become deciples and reach out to the world. We can be Christian, never really participate in study, never yeild our members, and never really produce fruit for the kingdom and our reward will be little in Heaven but we will still have our names written in the lambs book,,,we always need to remember, to yeild so we can be effective for the kingdom of God as the coming of the Lord approaches, for Jesus commissioned his twelve but they all did not go, Samson fell but he is in Heaven just as the thief on the cross thanks be to God's mercy...What we ought to be depends on how we yeild. I hope that helps because the Holy Spirit does not force us to deal with the sins of our flesh, the pride of life, the world that draws us away from serving the king of kings, and the choice is always going to be for us to YEILD to the kingdom. amen?
