I base my beliefs on the entire Bible, which I have read more than once, not just a few verses taken out of context. Just because I am not J. VanImpe, who has memorized practically the entire Bible, does not mean I don't have Scripture to back up my beliefs, which I have the right to by the way. I do know where many things are located in the Bible, but there is one thing I do not believe in and will not do, and that is argue over the Bible. I learned a long time ago to not respond to insults and argumentative attitudes regarding beliefs, and I can and will give you Scripture to back that up!! 2 Tim.2 and Titus 3:9. I may not agree with yours or the beliefs of some other individuals, but as a fellow Christain I respect your right to your opinions and only ask the same Christ-like behavior in return. God Bless! |

I do not believe there is anything temporal about wondering what heaven will be like, as a matter of fact I feel that it is a benefit to dig and dig for spiritual depth in the Bible. We were given minute details about many things in the Bible, and it is my belief that it may have been done that way, #1 because God chose to do it that way and possibly to make us keep digging for more to learn in His Word. I get great spiritual blessings and enjoy pondering about the "mysteries" of the Bible. my wondering about heaven has nothing whatsoever to do with questioning whether or not it's good enough! I know without a doubt it will be far greater than anything we could imagine because that's what God's Word says. Yes, we will have glorified bodies and dwell with the Triune God, but I believe part of my happiness will also be having my loved ones as part of the heavenly family also!!!

You said it your self, was not AT FIRST recognized. He did not want to be recognized until the proper time. Every thing has a proper time. I respect your right to interpret Scripture as the Spirit leads you, and the same applies to all Christians. It is interesting and enjoyable to get differing spiritual understandings of Scripture, but it all fits together like one perfect puzzle in the end!
