2 | Do Eliphaz' words constitute truth? | Gen 1:1 | Estabon | 81405
Thanks for your reply Truthfinder. Even Job's own words from 14:1 have been taken to be God's last words on man's trouble. I believe Jesus has more for us - note John 16:33.

To my new found best friend, Ray: Thank you for respecting Him. I totally agree with your "opinions" on Diety capitalization. The most recent spiritual adventure He has allowed me involves an indepth study of the Epistle of 1 John and portions of the Gospel of John. My initial goal was to be able to present/perform these passages dramatically. Through this He is leading me far deeper into their meaning. One must fully understand the passages in order to give proper inflection and emphasis. The Father's perfect love must be experienced before we can show it. He continues to pour out His love into my heart - and moment by moment I pray for His wisdom and strength to enable me to cement every thought, every word, and every action with His unfailing, unending love. The week of Valentine's Day a local newspaper contained a brief summation of Robert Sternburg's Triarchic Theory of Love. Sternburg developed a theory of love in which there were three dimensions: intimacy, passion and commitment. Some aspects of these are found in every real love relationship to some degree. My thought - Our love relationship with God is no different. As I began to explore our feelings for each other - He brought some beautiful thoughts into my mind. The commitment part of our love is relatively easy to understand. Agape by very definition is based upon decision. His was made at His first thought of me. Mine came as He gave me the first thought of Him. I have never thought to intentionally worship any other - though distractions and displaced priorities have caused Him much pain. The intimacy component - to me it's confession. In other forms of love - intimacy is built by common experience - the things a couple goes through together. Good communication is essential to build intimacy. Since His knowledge of every fiber of my being is perfect, I should let Him know - that I know He knows. Being respectful of His presence - confessing my faults before Him (and to others before Him) builds intimacy. Confessing Him and His constant work in my life makes our relationship more intimate. Since He inhabits the praises of His people - praising Him is a way to experience passion in our relationship. Pouring out our heart and soul with all of our strength about all that He is, has done, and is doing, brings about a special union. I'm praying to love the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength - and my neighbors as myself. Jesus said that everything hangs on these commandments. May God's great love overflow to every soul He puts in our path. Love Always,in His service, Estabon |
