2 | Honoring God in All Things | Ps 35:15 | EdB | 244057
A true and pure spirit seeks to worship God for God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
3 | Though Knowing Men Disobey | Rom 1:32 | EdB | 244055
The tragedy is many men do not know the voice of God. Many know God but have not developed a relationship with God so that they know His voice. To many God is distant and unreachable. To others He is close and constantly present. An ever present help in time of trouble.
4 | All in Things in Prayer | 1 Thess 3:10 | EdB | 244054
Yes prayer is two way communication with God. If God is not present in prayer why do it? I am sure Paul was well aware of that, since Paul was intimate contact with God. How sad if you have never heard God speaking to you in prayer. I pray that one day you will hear Him clearly speaking to you. |

5 | All in Things in Prayer | 1 Thess 3:10 | EdB | 244049
Advice of a book seller? An Author? I wonder if Paul or Jesus were given the choice between time spent in prayer a book, which would they chose. If I may be so bold to offer an opinion I would say they both would chose prayer. Especially knowing God would meet them there. I can understand why some would find a book an alternative to prayer if their prayer is only one eay because they deny the Holy Spirit still speaks to the heart of man. How sad! |

6 | Slanders are among us | Prov 16:28 | EdB | 244047
A kindergarten class had been singing “Be careful little tongue what you say.†After the teacher had explained further to the children why it is so hard to control the tongue, a little boy waved his hand for permission to speak. “I know why it’s hard to make the tongue behave. It’s because it’s in such a slippery place!†Proverbs 16:28 warns, “A whisperer separates the best of friends.†In the letter to the Romans, where Paul is describing the depravity of the human heart, he speaks of men as backbiters, haters of God, and “whisperers.†In both the Hebrew and Greek, “whisperer†means “talebearer, slanderer, attempts to deceive by falsehood.†“The whisperer speaks all languages, wears all kinds of clothing, is a citizen of all countries, belongs to all political parties, moves in all circles, and is a member of all churches.†Excerpt from David Arnold Morning Muse |

7 | Life of Jesus | Luke 2:41 | EdB | 244046
More to the Christmas Story And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Luke 2:52 Recommended Reading Luke 2:41-52 When reading the Christmas story in Luke 2, we usually stop halfway through the story, with Jesus still in the manger. But the last half of the chapter talks about what happened when Jesus was eight days old (verse 21); forty days old (verses 22-38); during His childhood (verses 39-40); when He was twelve years old (verses 41-50); and as a teenager and young adult (verses 51-52). That last verse—Luke 2:52—is our goal for our children—that they will mature as He did: mentally (in wisdom), physically (in stature), spiritually (in favor with God), and socially (and men). Excerpt from Dr David Jerimiah Today's turning point. |

8 | Difference truth versus doctrine of man | Acts 16:17 | EdB | 244043
There is a vast difference between being harassed for preaching the Gospel. And being called out for teaching doctrine of men. The woman followed Paul and correctly stated he was teaching the way to salvation. It was not a doctrine of man but the truth of Jesus Christ. As long as people do not add to scripture the doctrine of man there isn't a problem. |

9 | High View of Scripture | Deut 29:21 | EdB | 244037
Let me further clarify. There are many things in Catholicism that I do not agree with. I see it as their flawed interpretation of scripture just as I see the things in other denominations that I do not agree with I see it as their flawed interpretation of scripture. Is that saying I have a perfect view or interpretation of scripture? No I am sure my view is flawed also but hopefully not as flawed as some of these other interpretations. Again I do not defend or agree with Catholicism in many of their doctrines but I believe they believe their doctrine is scripture supported. |

11 | High View of Scripture | Deut 29:21 | EdB | 244035
Let clarify! If we look at the documented doctrine of the Catholic Church, as published in their catechism what is there that is outside scripture? Yes the Pope being mere man may have personally said something outside the Bible. But when he is speaking to set church doctrine his words are carefully checked by many others to insure they are within the boundaries set by scripture. Or at least that is my understanding of Catholicism. If it is wrong then I would like to know where they strayed outside their interpretation ( which Sola Scriptura allows) of scripture. |

12 | High View of Scripture | Deut 29:21 | EdB | 244034
Not to defend Catholicism, but what has the Pope said that is outside the Bible? No abortions? No divorces? No drugs? Just what has the Pope said that was outside the Bible?
13 | Tradition vs Traditionalism | Mal 2:6 | EdB | 244027
Yet we see in the worship handed down from God to Moses was meant to be tradition that each generation would use to worship and therefore honor God.
14 | Politician's Refusal to Listen | Jer 26:5 | EdB | 244026
Or it might be that what is being heard is nothing more than an assembly of words crafted together to impress rather than be sound teaching.
15 | Confessional History | Ps 119:26 | EdB | 244021
As I have often said problems only arise when one think he can define the other or mistakenly believes they understand enough about the others theology to say it is wrong.
16 | High View of Scripture | Deut 29:21 | EdB | 244020
All true Christians have a high view of scripture. Reformed, Evangelical, Full Gospel, Baptist, Pentecostal, Mainline and even Catholics. The problem becomes when someone that has no understanding of the other tries to define them or their view of scripture |

17 | Scripture the School of the HS | Jer 9:20 | EdB | 244017
It even gets worst when limited unknowing man tries from his ego to explain God. Even worst when he tries to force his nonsense upon other man as dogma.
18 | Scripture the School of the HS | Jer 9:20 | EdB | 244016
Oh how limited man tries to limit God with the same constraints that limit man. How sad when. An fails to realize the totally unrestrained abilities of God. |

19 | Scripture the School of the HS | Jer 9:20 | EdB | 244015
I totally agree we just have to understand what scripture is really saying when it conveys to the human mind the concept of predestination. God transcends time therefore many mistakenly misunderstand knowledge of an event that is yet to occur in the physical realm as something God decreed must occur.
20 | Professions are Verified by Fruit | John 6:60 | EdB | 244014
A big amen to this I know a lot of people that talk about others but there is absolutely no fruit in their life. How sad!
