Mat 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath. (Which Sabbath is he speaking of)? Mat 12:9 And when he had departed thence, he went into their synagogue. Mat 12:10 And behold, there was a man who had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath? that they might accuse him. (Which Sabbath?)ist or 7th day? Mat 12:11 And he said to them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it shall fall into a pit on the sabbath, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? Mat 12:12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. Which Sabbath is he Lord of? Is he telling them they shouldn't keep it, or ishe telling them how? He cameand magnified the law. He did not change one dot or title. He kept it and taught how to keep it. Read those verses again and get exactly what it does say. Pray for guidance when you do, and I pray also. Did you reat Zechariah,as I had pointed out? If not, you should do so before making claims tyhat are man made. Zechariah proves the real Holy days will always be kept. And they alone. Which day is he refering to here. You said one day is the same as anoyhrt. If that were so, there would be no discussion at all. But the seventh day IS different in more than one way. It was made at the end of creation week. It was shouted down from the mountain. It was written in stone by his very finger. It was blessed and sanctified. It is mentioned throughout the Bible. Is any other day like that? It was kept by our saviour. These verses only show how the Pharisees tried to make it onerous. They were showed the truth about it. But never was it negated. All the Holy people in the new testament kept it. After his death and resurection, they contimued to keep it, as well as all believers. than The Roman enperor decided to change it to the first day. And the catholic church made an edict proclaiming that thr pope could change it. Nobody can change what is Holy. I wish you would relize that. maybe you in your church, but he said these false ministers will be told he never knew them. Read the whole Bible. Don't try to pick verses here and there. I have no intention in ruining anyones day. But if truth does in fact ruin anyones day, that is not my fault. Maybe someone greater than you or I has directed me here to proclaim truth. |

Do you want to folow him? Did he keep the Sabbath? Why do you not? Did he keep Sunday? Than why do you, because the pope says to? Did Paul and the rest observe the Sabbath and Holy days after the resurection? Than why do you choose to ignore them and observe man made false days? How can you rationalize all this away?

This will be my last post. I have copied from the Bible. Where is that a broad statement? Have you looked into just exactly what Christmas is, and where it came from? That is not broad at all. Have you looked into why you now reject the true fourth commandment and accept a manmade one? Is that too broad? I still think the day will come for you when you will return to the true commandmnents. It has happened to me, and some others that I know of. Have you seen my copy from the end of the Bible that shows the commandments will be kept by true members of the true church at his returen? That means the seventh day a;so.I hope you did, if not , look it up for yourself. May you be blessed. |

Something must be missing in transmission. I have answered what I see. I will answer all now. First, You are not worshipping him at all by taking pagan ways and trying to make it fit into his holiness. I have answered that already. You can cover up rust with paint and make it look beautiful.but the rot is still there.Second. I cannot refer to any reference that says that and never tried to. You are reading things into what I do show that are not there. see above.Third Yes, definitely, he is my Saviour, and his is the only name I can be saved by. I have already stated that. If you didn't see it something is wrong. Fourth, Of course, it is not vile, but blessed to worship him in any day. But calling a Pagan day his birthday, lie number one, and saying you are worshipping him on any day is vile. Have you read my direct copys from the Bible at all? I had many more but was not allowed to send them because space is limited by the owner of this panel. I can't see why you keep saying I am saying it is vile to worship him. How much more can I do to explain? You are getting confused by what I am saying. I am not speaking at all about worshipping him. I am speaking about how wrong it is too try to spin Pagan days into something that is Holy. I hope I have made myself clear. To all, I have made my point. If you don't agree fine. If anyone wants to study, please reply. But I am not going to argue . I was asking to be removed from this and sent an E-mail, but it has not happened. The original question was if he was born Dec.25. I replied and showed that is a lie. Even secular history shows that, and how the catholic church tried to spin pagan days. I want no fights. I will not just keep repeating myself for the sake of arguing. I do know some of you feel insulted here. That is not my intent. If you think me wrong, look it up for youeselves. |

Of course I am aware. But where does that negate the commandments? It does magnifgy them though, as he came to do. Tell me, and I am sincere here, I mean no offense, but do you believe the ten commandments should be kept? When I entered this panel, I was wondering what name to use. Maybe, "commandment believer", would have been better. I did not mean to cause offense, or pretend that I am perfect. I am like all of you, striving to do what I believe. |

Where have I ever mentioned Ellen G White? I am writing plainly enough. Can you read at all? I have quoted scripture out of the Bible. Just to make it very clear. I do not belong to any organized church. I do not attend any manmade church. Why are you being so presumptious? Why are you speaking of my ilk? Where have I offended except by quoting what the scripture says? I do believe you should look at this message of yours and ask if you are excersizing what you suggest. You seem to take offense because I have spoken truth, and it hurts. Don't kill the messanger. I think you were in SDA. I was a child in that church. I saw EGW worship, not the Bible. I left as a teen ager. But I did not refuse to obey the Bible because I was enamored with SDA. I thnk you have made a grave mistake. You now attend a place that teaches not to keep all commandments, but it is a pleasant place. You are still following men, not the Bible. I think you are showing anger to me because I have perked your conscience. Ask yourself. Do I beliebve I should keep the commandments? All of them? Even the fourth? I think deep down ,you know the answer. I have been there. For years, I shied away from the truth. I am now seventy nine, At the age of fifty, I had an experience that brought me back to the truth. It is my hope that all could experience that. It is something so wonderful. My sisters are still SDA. THEY DO KEEP CHRISTMAS. What makes you think I follow them after all my messages to the contrary? Am I wrong to quote directly from the Bible? Show me why I should not. Bless you |

The Bible is silent about what month he was born in. If it were to be observed, the Bible would tell us. But obviously, it is not to be observed, which this simple fact proves. Please don't continue to be so rude as to wish me what you did. Surely, you are making an attempt to mock me. I will pray for your forgiveness, because of your ignorance. |

No, I try to keep all of them. Yes, we have all sinned except one. But does that tell us to continue in sin? Sin is the transgression of the law. All ten commandments. Are you suggesting we should not obey them to the best of our ability?

2Ki 17:15 And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them. Jer 10:3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. Jer 10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.Mic 5:13 Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands. Mic 5:14 And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities. Mic 5:15 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard. Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Jud 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; which are written in the Lamb's 1Jo 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1Jo 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 1Jo 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of usbook of life. 1Jo 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 1Jo 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 2Pe 2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 2Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2Pe 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall 1Pe 4:3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Jam 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. Jam 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art Mar 7:7 But, in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Mar 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. Mar 7:9 And he said to them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition, become a transgressor of the Act 7:43 Yes, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your God Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon. Act 18:21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return to you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus. Just a few verses that show the true Bible. The heathen ways are definitely not to be followed. Look around you this day. What do you see? All heathen symbols. The TV is rife with them today. There is so much more in the Bible, time does not permit. But if anyone reads these verses and continues to go on with their ways, that is not my business. I know most of you are sincers, as i am also. I don't think I want to go any further. May you all be blessed. law.Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: be evil spoken of. I do not celebrate his birth, but I do observe his death, because I am trying to do what is in the Bible. I certainly agree about the Joy, but don't see how taking a vile day, and trying to make it fit does that. If something is rusted out, and you cover the rust wiyh a coat of shiny paint, it is still rusty. |

Speaking of Holy days are not at all splitting hairs. WE are warned about people creeping into Churches, and thinking to change times and days. Heeding that warning is not splitting hairs. Adding anything Pagan and calling them Holy, ertainly is not splittng hairs. If I misunderstood your comment, I am sorry.

I don't see the reason for that. I don't own a boat. I keep all ten commandments, including the fourth as written. I suggest you look them up. I am amazed when I se protests about posting them on a courthouse wall, etc. The ones protestng only believe in nine of them, amd prefer to break one of them, namely the fourth. |

Really, what would any of those items have to do with taking a pagan holiday and trying to say it is an honorable day because Messiah was born on that, and we now make it Holy? I see yu love that day, so do as you wish on that day, But I see no reason to go on with this. I have showd you where to look in the Bible for what IS in the Bible, proving which days we are commanded to observe. You choose to ignore that, so why talk about this silly subject of what I own? |

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend. If you take it as unbiblical. I apologise, but I don't see any reason to continue this. You are convinced what you believe. If you care to check out what i mentioned in the bible, fine. If not, that is not my business. In any case I have tried to show you what I believe and why. You seem to be offended, I am sorry for that. many times people react that way when they hear something that hurts . When a person has believed some things all thier lives, it is not easy to open the mind and really investigete. If you are sincere, and really want to see who is right here. Check out what I have said from the Bible. If you still are convinced, go on with how you live. But if you do see new truth, it would be wise to follow what you see. Believe me, that is not always easy. I know because I have been there. I really don't understand why you are saying my wishing you luck is unbiblical. I really think it shows love and concern for my fellow man. It is not at all like someone that knows how I feel about christmas wishing me a happy one in spite of it. That should not be . But wishing someone luck, shows love and concern in my book. Prior to that I said, "Bless you". Was that taken wrong also? |

Please don't misunderstand me. I am not calling you or anyone else a pagan. i am simply stating that it is not a Holy day, but is derived from a Pagan day. If any one thinks they are honoring Messiah by keeping that day, it is not my business. It is between them and thier creator. I fact, the Bible tells us that if someone does something without knowing it is bad, Our Heavenly Father winks at that, He does not condemn them . But if anyone does something that they know is wrong, that person is responsible. It says, "if it is sin to you, it is sin. I agree the Bible is full of the joy of his coming. But that is not to be confused in such a way that we create false days , and call it in honor of him. In fact, it is just the opposite. You do not honor him at all by creating a lie. That date is not his birthday, but is a Satanic day. He is not mocked. He knows where that came from. The same place where all the rest of the pagan days came from. The catholic church. Halloween, Valentines day, Easter , etc, are all Pagan days. I know I will hear about Easter. There is no such day in the Bible. King James does mistranslate Passover for Easter, and some have that showing in the margin. |

I appreciate the wish, but don't you understand? I do not believe in that day at all. It is not what I want to hear for obvious reasons. Wish me a nice day or something like that. Do you ever wonder why you do the things you do on that day? First if all , lies to children, breaking a commandment. Than mistletoe, which originated as something lewd. Than mysterious Santa. Don't you see? what has that to do wuth Messiah? Than sleds on the roof, and reindeer, him coming down the chimney. All this fairy tales originated by pagan rituals. Why would you exchange gifts and think it honors Messaih? And the gifts are forced on many . Cutting down trees which Jeremiah tells us not to. Than all those lights. Where in the Bible is any of this condoned? I know that his coming and dying for us sinners was the most wonderful thing that has ever happened on this earth. His is the only name by which we can attain salvation. But if we love him we must do as he says, and do as he did when he walked this earth. not what man says. When Paul saya in Romans, let no man judge you in days, ha was speaking to folowers of Messiah, and was speaking of the Holy days, not Pagan days.He was showing the gentile converts that the other gentliles would mock them for keeping the true Holy days, same as I get laughed at for keeping what are mistakenly called Jewish holidays. THey were not given exclusively to Jews alone. Messiah said."Sabbath was made for man, man was not made for the Sabbath. He said man, not Jews. And he was speaking about the true Sabbath which he kept, and was the lord of. The SEVENTH DAY, not the first day. It was made in the beginning, six days work, and than rest on the seventh. Don't you see how man was not satisfied with that, and tried to change it to the first, which doesn't make sense at all. First rest and than work. All this is in the Bible and more, but most people are brought up with traditions of men , and never question at all. Bless you, and I pray that you will look into your Bible and earnestly study what is in ie. The Bible gives uo true Holy days that are forever. Man does not agree with them, so he copys pagan days, and calls them holy. How can pagan days replace what is Holy? If you don't believe this, go to Zechariah. Read the whole book to get the proper context. Than go to chapter 14, verses 16 to 21. Than maybe you will see what i am talking about. I wish you luck, and do pray that you can have an open mind. I also know it is wise to pray for guidance before studying. Bless you. |

I think you are now reading something in Luke that is not there. Where does it say they were celebrating his BIRTHDAY? They were in fact celebrating his BIRTH. If you do indeed consider me to be your brother, please give me the curtesy of not insulting me by wishing me a merry whatever, because you do know , whether or not you agree, that I do not recognize that day as a holy day. There are actually Holy days in the Bible, which are to be observed forever. But Most professing "Churches" ignore tyhem and do observe manmade holy days which come from pagan days. P.S. How can anyone give glory to "God" in the highest by memorializing a pagan day? |
