Hi doc, Im sorry I did not know you were looking for a certain answer, I promise I will try and be more diligent in the future.I thought I would just give the one Jesus thought was the one that sums everything up. I found something interesting and scary in the Bible. In James 4, it says Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgement on it. There is only one lawgiver and judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you-who are you to judge your neighbor. Scary stuff.

Hi Doc, I read through your passages, thank you for suggesting them. I learned that Jesus said we did not choose God but he chose us to go and bear good fruit that would last. Also that he comands us to love one another and that the father himself loves us because we we loved and believed Jesus came from God. I learned in Galantians that the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. I also learned in Galatians that if you keep biting and devouring each other watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. I also learned what the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. I hope my report is beneficial.

Hi, I can't speak for Bill but Jesus did say when you fast not if, no I don't believe it is a requirement for salvation but it is expected. And if I may suggest when you disagree with someone's answer let them know in love and not in putting the other person down, I would hate for a new Christian looking for answers to get discouraged. Thank you, Atterbury |
