Most assume the N.T. was penned originally in greek. However, Aramaic primacy can easily be established and has an amazing history. A detailed study of the Peshitta and it's history is worth the time. And Rev 21:6 cleary states "Aleph-Tav". I agree we should not fit our interpretations in to scripture. The Peshitta is scripture.

So the Mashiyac is speaking to John, two Hebrews from the Tribe of Judah, and they are speaking Greek? It is certainly more appropriate to refer to Yahshua as the Aleph Tav. Same concept, just different Aleph-bet! Look at Gen 1:1 and you will see an Aleph-Tav in the Hebrew text. Aleph-Tav's are frequently untranslated and are connected with Messianic prophecy.
3 | Is the "Promised Land" my heart/mind? | Gen 12:1 | AMO14 | 210407
There is absolutely direct application for believers today!!! In Verse 7 YHWH proceeds to tell Abram that He will give this land to his descendants. This land is promised. In Galatians 3:29 it states that if you are in Messiah then you are an heir according to the promise and a descendant of Abraham. The Messiah's kingdom will be established in this land for a thousand years and as ambassadors for this coming kingdom we look forward to dwelling with Him there.
