We cannot “Save Others” in any sense of the expression. Our Father saves us by drawing us and then by enlightenment through his word and “His Good Pleasure” we are at some point saved and all because Jesus did the work and paid for each and every one of the Elect. We bring the Gospel or preach the Gospel in order to draw the elect to Jesus. Where is “Go into all the world and make disciples of ALL men,” in the bible? Disciples AKA “True believers” are the only persons that Jesus is interested in. Not everyone who calls his name will be saved. Please see Leviticus 19:14 and Leviticus 25:17 and Deuteronomy 4:10 and Deuteronomy 6:2 and Deuteronomy 6:13 and Deuteronomy 6:24 and Deuteronomy 8:6 and Deuteronomy 10:12 and Deuteronomy 10:20 My favorite: Deuteronomy 13:4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. Another Favorite: Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. And: Jeremiah 5:24 And: Acts 13:26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent. Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. The elect shall and do fear God. 1 John is speaking about true believers – the elect. When we get to 1 John 4:18 the scripture you quoted; it is speaking of the personality and traits of a true believer. Please read the next verse: 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us. Further, 1 John 4:18 is speaking about the elect individual who may fear judgment or have fears in this world. I do not fear man or this world. I fear God and am fearful because of all the misinformation, false churches and evil that is multiplying casting doubt in every direction. But in our Fathers Plan we take comfort knowing that all that will be saved will. You mention: Romans 8:31-39 Please see: Romans 8:33: “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.” “It is also clear that as many as receive the Gospel are "called" to be "chosen," as indicated in 2 Thesalonians 2:13-15 "But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us." We can derive from the command of Christ to go forth into all the world and preach the Gospel, as well as from God's desire to save us [2 Peter 3:9] "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance," that all are "called." We also know that "many are called, but few are chosen," just as Christ has taught us. In this case, as many as receive the Gospel are invited to salvation, though not all recognize the hour of their visitation and react towards being "chosen," just as the parable describes in Matthew 22:8-14.” Jesus is merciful, thank you Jesus for your mercy, we love you with all of our heart. I am praying for the elect, that their spiritual eyes open and act accordantly. I am praying for his return. I am praying more then I have ever done before. I am also praying for my family and myself. do not mean this to offend, so please do not take it so. – NP… “By your own determination, it should be fruitless, and thus needless. “ Where did I give that impression? Simply put. The church regardless of the denomination teaches a bunch of salvation plans. None of which are truthful. We need to know the truth. It is horrible and a rude awakening nevertheless Gods plan of salvation is to save his election – no one else. The reason I am opening my mouth at all is because the churches aren’t teaching the truth. Tell me one church that teaches truth. Show me one. |
