1 | indwelling holy spirit | OT general | vkey | 15221
yes, i indeed agree with Nolan, that every born again Christian has the Holy Spirit in him. in 1 Corinthian, Paul says "No one can say Jesus is the Lord except by the Holy Spirit". so, you can know fir sure that every believer who confesses with his mouth and believes in his heart that Jesus is the Lord has the Holy Spirit living in him. |

2 | Earth was without form, and void. | Gen 1:1 | vkey | 19984
I agree with you. In my NIV, Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 go on like this: In the begining, God created the heaven and the earth. Now, the earth was(*) formless and empty. the footnote for was is given as "possibly became". also, when you come to the 2nd verse, it begins with the word "now" after God created heaven and earth. it so probably became void at that particular time. it doesnt make any scriptural sense that God would create something formless and empty. Another important thing i would like to quote is when i was watching TV, i saw Benny Hinn quoting a verse from Jeremiah as when God created man, He commanded him to replenish the earth.(which means refill) which can only mean there was life previously too. unfortunately i dont remeber which verse. so if anyone can find it, it will be very useful. regs, Vkey |

3 | Earth was without form, and void. | Gen 1:1 | vkey | 20304
Actually, i do remember him quoting that verse from Jeremiah and not from Genesis which in my bible (NIV) it is also "fill". but as i said before, i dont remember which one it is which says replenish the earth. |

4 | Was Jesus Christ, Son of God from start? | John 3:1 | vkey | 18308
with reference to the given verse, the word "begotten" means to give rise to or to bring about or to give birth to. Since Jesus has no beginings and cannot be brought about or give rise to as He is there forever, this verse only means the Jesus "born on earth". if you read the verse in Lu 1:35 in which the angel says to Mary, the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you and so the Holy One born to you shall be called the Son of God. So Jesus was called the Son of God only after He was born of the Holy Spirit of God. until that time He was always having fellowship with God from the begining. Even in Hebrews 1:5, the author quotes the verse, "You are my Son, Today I have become your Father". So Jesus became the Son and God became the father only after He was born, but He was always there with Him even before His birth. |

5 | What does God say in Hebrews 13:4? | Rom 8:38 | vkey | 14689
You have rightly quoted. There were strict punishments in the OT days for people who committed adultery or indulged in fornication(pre marital sex). Again Jesus says, "if you look at a woman lustfully , you have already committed adultery with her in our heart". So what Jesus said is wrong, then you can be sure its wrong. So sex before marriage is a sin and it should only be between one's wife and not his/her fiance. Amen. |

6 | Are women allowed to teach/preach? | 1 Tim 2:14 | vkey | 15001
i agree to an extent of what you've said. it does make sense too. since we see a lot of women preaching in the Holy Spirit. But again, Paul in 1 Corinthians says that it is a disgrace for women to ecven speak in the Church and that if they have any doubts they should ask their husbands at home. why again? vkey |
