1 | God's children do revolt | Is 1:2 | disciplermeam | 80994
If you review the history of the people of Israel, you see that both corporately and individually, they did go astray. God recorded their history for us so that we might learn not to follow their example. We certainly may go astray. Do you think men have gone astray by ignoring the plain teaching of the following verses? The following are just a few plain verses...[edited] Matt 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Mark 16:16 "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. Acts 9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he regained his sight, and he got up and was baptized; Acts 22:16 'Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.' Rom 6:3 Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Rom 6:4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. Col 2:12 having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 1 Pet 3:21 Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you--not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience--through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, |

Common sense say wash them if they are dirty. That reminds me, what do you think of the following verses? The following are just a few plain verses...[edited] Matt 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Mark 16:16 "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. 4 | 2 Corinthians- What is 'suffering' | 2 Cor 1:5 | disciplermeam | 80991
Suffering is a part of being a Christian. Jesus sufered, leaving us an example to follow in his steps. Do you think people will suffer if they do not obey Jesus' command to be baptized? The following are just a few plain verses...[edited] Matt 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Mark 16:16 "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. 5 | Are we back to the absurd view...? | 2 Timothy | disciplermeam | 81009
Joe! Maybe you can explain to me why a you may post your opinions all day long, even though your 'unabashed' Calvinism is a divisive as any doctrine? Day in and day out you press your ridiculous doctrine onto any and all. It is an odious doctrine and I've let you know that. But have you gotten any warnings to stop? I doubt it. My opinions are mine. I quote scripture and you quote Calvin. Who is right? I always act in a way that brings glory to God. Matthew 28:18-20 is the same baptism as Mark 16:16 is the same baptism as Acts 2:38 is the same baptism as Acts 8:12 is the same baptism as Acts 22:16 is the same baptism as Romans 6:3-5 is the same baptism as Galatians 3:266,27 is the same baptism as Colossians 2:12 is the same baptism as 1 Peter 3:21. Good day. As far as the names go, it's all anonymous. So you've given yourself away as being on the inside. I assume by your other question that you also represent the legal arm of the Lockman foundation? This must be the reason you may post without impunity the divisive stuff you do. |
