1 | Ezekiel ... Your 9 (10) points refuted? | Matt 28:19 | webpastor | 9210 | ||
Well God's Word is certainly true. Paul said that in the last days men would be "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." I would say that is certainly true for you two. Ezekiel is absolutely correct! Jesus said in Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" The word "name" here is singular, one name. God is not a name, Son is not a name, Holy Ghost is not a name. The name is Jesus! The disciples who were with him knew exactly what that name was. For indeed they had two things going for them that you two fellas don't have. 1. In Luke 24:45 He opened their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures. 2. In Acts 2:4 He filled them with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. What name did they use? Acts 2:38 says it was Jesus. There are many other scriptures that prove out the same thing all through the book of Acts. Want some more truth? Go to a real Christian web site at www.apostolic.net There is only one God! Not three. There is no Trinity in the Bible. It's Roman Catholic pagan heresy. God said that the greatest of all commandments is "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD" Isaiah chapter 45 proclaims over and over "there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me." You will refute this also, I know. |
