1 | So who is right? | 2 Cor 3:17 | vume | 62141
John:8:32: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John:17:17: Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Romans:9:1: I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, ......our sufficiency is of God; 2Corinthians:3:6: Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 2Corinthians:3:17: Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2Corinthians:3:18: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 | is it wrong to masterbate? | 1 Cor 7:9 | vume | 52167
charlene; Isaiah:55:9: For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Is it not foolish to live on the lower level when God is encouraging all to know and partake of a more excellent way? Ephesians:3:20: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Colossians:3:1: If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. |

5 | What is truth? | John 18:38 | vume | 52065
Ephesians:2:8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: All of God's Word is TRUTH, and because God's thoughts are beyond the relm of worldly wisdom, I submit that truth seekers need to focus on what God's agenda must be. What is one thing that will satisfy everything that God has done? If Heaven is the answer as well as the Goal, then are the suicide pawns receiving rewards? I quess what I am saying is if you are looking for a simple answer it is JESUS the bringer of understanding to the simple. Or maybe truth is onemindedness. Wow-every jot and tiddle accounted for. |

6 | Right vs Righteous | NT general Archive 1 | vume | 51459
In the homes of many believers, we can find books, audio cassettes, videos, dailyword messages and many more things that pertain to the things of God. It is a blessing to hear what others have to say about the Word of God. But... Reasoning will lead the effector astray. The Holy Spirit reveals the mind of Christ that our new spirit man possesses. If we are living in denial, unwilling to repent of our reasoning then our new spirit man no longer is able to partake of the devine nature. All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. |

Joe:2:28: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: Isa:52:10: The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. These are the scriptures that may have been used to say "all flesh will be saved". Let us rightly divide the WORD, understand the difference between being saved and seeing salvation. This is a good place to study as a workman (wordman). |

9 | Request topic "Personal Responsiblity" | 1 Cor 8:3 | vume | 46176
Catalina; In a Bible forum I assume "personal resposiblity" is the effort that each participant makes at arriving at the place that they can say is where they most clearly see God and can relate His Truth. WOW - I thought it was going to be easy to put that thought into words. 1Corinthians:8:3: But if any man love God, the same is known of him. |

I believe anytime you feel the need to give your spiritual side an edge is the right time to fast and pray. reference Acts:13:2: As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3: And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. |

Answer: 100 percent of both, no separation of His faith and His knowledge. Romans:8:29:.......... I patiently wait - Wow what a task. |
