1 | How can I do Jesus will | NT general Archive 1 | tuli | 50772

2 | Do YOU belive in the Bible? | 1 Cor 7:15 | tuli | 39045
Don't get excited here my friend. Who am I to talk? What kind of question is that? I hope this forum is not made up of people's opinions, but that as Christians we have the mind of Christ! The Bible can only be interpreted one correct way, and that is by the spirit. By the way, tell me when you or I have had different interpretations of any words in the Bible. As far as I am concerned you have not attempted to give any scriptural basis for your opinions. And please, keep feelings to the minimum because they cloud the understanding. I am of the opinion that you are my brother and I can therefore use language to you as a man. Hopefully a spiritual man. |

3 | Are you kidding? | 1 Cor 7:15 | tuli | 39025
It is really great that you take one side of the story and get so caught up in it. You do not personally know any of these people, probably never will. Do not make the mistake of taking sides with half the story. Please keep your opinions out ofnthis and give council from the Bible. This is a forum, I believe, to discuss spiritual matters. Matt 18:16 "But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that BY THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY FACT MAY BE CONFIRMED. |

4 | One more time, "fallen away"? | Mark 4:16 | tuli | 38927
Cyclist, I have been thinking about HEBREWS 6 and 10. It is very interesting that everyone I talk to seems to go right into losing salvation. I do not know if that is what the passages concern. Howere, what I find interesting and would love to discuss is the referrences to the old testament-the shadows of the new in regards to the passages in question. |

5 | Does Elijah's confession reflect shame? | 1 Kin 19:4 | tuli | 38890
Hi, I have learnt that when I see my failure, it is an opportunity for me to turn to God and an opportunity to be perfected and to see His glory. Any rate, I think Elijah saw in himself failure-unbelief that characterized his fathers. Just liek his fathers, after seeing the power of God he run away for fear for his life, forgetting that the God that sent fire from heaven was still there for him. Nevertheless God was still faithful to his servant. I believe mcuh of what we suffer is due to unbelief. But, Praise the Lord, he called us, saved us and is perfecting us. |

6 | What does be radian mean in Psalms 34:5? | Ps 34:5 | tuli | 38888
What do you think it means? I believe you need to see the verse in context of the Psalm to appreciate it. They looked to Him... Look at v22 as well and notice when the Psalm was written. |

8 | How does a person submit to God? | Gen 2:20 | tuli | 38504
Just as we submit to one another. Let the Lordship of God reign in your life. Keep His commandments, and sanctify yourself to be a vessel fit for the master's use.
9 | How do you know the unity of the spirit? | Gen 2:20 | tuli | 38503
We do not make the Unity, we keep the unity made by Christ through the Spirit that we all have as body of Christ. A sort of "tabernacle" over the body. That is why we are called to endeavor maintain it, and not make it. And to know it is to live in it which will be clear in the fruit. JAH BLESS |

Hey, I did not answer the question yesterday. However, it is okay once in a while to asy you do not know the answer to a question. there are a lot of questins we cannot answer because we either do not know that much or the Bible does not address them. About babies, I doubt they can be held accountable for what they do not understand. Our God is a Just God. why shoudl someone that wasn't even be given a chance to make a choice be judged for it? |

13 | Luke 19:27 mean? | Psalm | tuli | 37228
I believe it was after the others had been judged that the slaying occured. PSALM 149:6-9 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand: To execute vengeance against the nations, [and] punishment among the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written. This honour have all his saints. Hallelujah! |

The old covenant never applied to the Gentiles. The work of Christ made one new man under a new covenant. We are in the commonwealth only and only through God our saviour. God Bless. |

15 | scriptural basis for church government | 1 Tim 3:1 | tuli | 37010
Government of the church is by our Head the Lord Jesus. However MEN are used by God for this purpose. Elders I believe are responsible for the Church, READ ACTS 20. And the "qualifications" are in 1 TIMOTHY 3. It is clear that there is something wrong, PRAY and ask for wisdom. |

16 | what about inerrancy? | Rom 1:29 | tuli | 37006

EPH.3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: |

She made a vow to God--She lent Samuel to God! And she had to keep it. All she wanted was to have seed from her, to be productive if you may. Her prayer in Ch. 2 is very prophetic. |
