2 | Praise the Lord! | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 67867
I don't know if Hank told you that I was Satan yet, but I wanted to say thank you for not judging me...at least, not right off the bat, like many have...I didn't know what a whirlwind I started be simply giving my biblical understanding and knowledge to people or even my opinion...I didn't think I was being evil or even decieving anyone. In fact, I let most people know that my response was my opinion and instructed some to search out the scripture for themselves...Anyway, thanks for not kicking me out of the church like many others have! 4 | Question #4 for tremere123 | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 67855
1 Timothy 5:17 Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. 1 Peter 5:1 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: Hebrews 11:1,2 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 1 Peter 5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders, Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." By the way, this was not the Scripture I was referring to in this peticular reply but I will find it and post it. |

John 5:36 "But I have greater witness than John's;for the works which the father has given Me to finish-the very works that I do-bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. Isaiah 14:12-14 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' Revelation 12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Jude 1:6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment og the great day; |

7 | Question #1 for tremere123 | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 67852
Genesis 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from darkness. Genesis 2:16,17 And the Lord commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely; 17 "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." Genesis 4:7 "If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it." Romans 9:17 For the Scripture says to Pharoah, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth." Matthew 26:31 Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of me this night, for it is written: 'I will strike the Shephard, And the sheep of the flock will be scattered.' John 1:3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. |

9 | "to each a measure of faith" Means?? | Rom 12:3 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67740
He may have given you more faith the Joe Smith down the block...He gave a different amount to each of us of faith amongst other gifts....some can prophecy, some can speak in tongues, some can teach...and some need more help and work then others...I believe the point in telling us this is so that we won't judge those who have less spiritual gifts and, more importantly, not to judge ourselves too harshly with regards to our own shortcomings...because God gave to each of us as He saw fit to...and he will bring up the small and bring low the high...He will create the balance through Judgement!
10 | What is people sin? | Bible general Archive 1 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67739
The best way I can explain this is to tell you that God wants us to come to Him by choice not by force...God gave us freewill and in order to give us freewill he had to create a bad choice as well as a good choice...without a bad choice there is no choice to be made...if you are only given one option then you have to take that option...if someone says you can choose A or B then you have to decide in your heart and in your mind...based off of what A and B entail which you will pick...God did not create sin to hurt us or to kill us or just to make life difficult rather as a choice...we choose who and what we want to be...Are we predestined?...Yes, we are because God already knew before we were born what we would choose and even if He knows that a person is going to choose evil...He will use that person as a bad example or to fulfill prophesy as he did when He hardened Pharopah's heart...consider what would not have happened if He had not done that...search the Scripture on that and consider carefully how things would be different...without darkness light wouldn't shine, would it? Just remember that God is Love and Mercy and Grace and all that...He is all those things....He not only loves us but wants us to love Him back...if you cage someone to keep them are you loving them and are they loving you...or does it mean more that a person of their own free will chooses to be with you, to love you? What is more sincere? Rumor has it the several angels are jealous that we humans can choose to love God because...maybe, it is a more sincere, pure gesture of love...Search this out! Peace!
11 | did god create evil | Ex 34:6 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67736
I believe the Bible teaches us that God created everything! It was God who hardened Pharoah's heart and God created the angels...Lucifer was an angel...God created the serpent in the tree...how else did it get there!? I don't know why so many people have a hard time with this...God created everything good and bad...we have the freewill to choose between the two!
12 | The Father have authority over The Son? | John 13:16 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67735
I agree...in any family, as in nature, there must be order or structure....Jesus said I can do nothing unless it is My Father's will...something along those lines...and in many verses He described how He is nothing without the Father...He said you cannot know the Father unless you know the Son...I look at it this way Jesus is God's fruit...Jesus is God's Work as an example...or Witness...if you believe someone is saved, you believe it because of their works (how they live/what kind of person they are) so therefore you believe they are saved...if we don't believe God's work or testimony...that is (Jesus) we cannot believe in God who did or created the work (Jesus)...Jesus is the light....God's light...as parents our fruit is not only our works but is our children...do we not create who they are and what they become...if a child is a criminal who do you look to punish or question? The parents! So you believe the parents are as good or as bad as their children are...so it is with Jesus and God!
13 | What are the qualification for an elder | Titus 1:5 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67734
Authority by wisdom whether through age or searched out knowledge! Your mother, your father, anyone older (but not older yet dumber) than you, those in authority like cops, judges, government, pastors, priests, teachers....but remember that discernment is necessary to know which elders to follow and which to not follow...even the Antichrist will come as an authority figure and look at the elders like the Saduccees and Pharasies in the Bible who led many astray...It doesn't matter how old or young you are spirually or worldly just pray for discernment!
14 | What are the qualification for an elder | Titus 1:5 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67733
I think that an elder is someone who is either older than you (usually older is wiser but not always) or someone in authority or someone more versed in the Bible...I consider anyone who is wiser than me whether spiritually or earthly to be an elder of mine...but search the Scripture about the order of things...meaning who comes first the elder or the younger and why or how that happens...just stay humble always no matter how old or young you are!
15 | What does the bible say about equality o | Rom 6:23 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67732
I'm pretty sure it's in the New Testament...sorry I can't, at the moment, narrow it down but do note that there is a sin leading to death...a sin that is unforgivable...search this out!
16 | god owes us salvation by our works? | Eph 2:10 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67731
Can I just say that God does not "owe" anything to anybody rather it is through His Grace and Mercy that we have breath! Also, works without faith is dead and faith without works is dead...search the Scriptures on that, k!?
17 | Why does scroll turn from sweet to sour? | Rev 10:9 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67730
My opinion is that when you eat (read) the Bible it is sweet at first...but when you get deeper into digestion (understanding) you see the Truth about yourself and it is not always easy to face the truth...Sometimes the truth hurts and therefore is bitter....Make any sense?!
18 | Immaculate Conception, mary, how? | 1 John 1:8 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67729
By God...that is how...it is called a miracle...anything is possible with God...immaculate conception is no exception! Have faith!
19 | Free will for angels | 2 Pet 2:4 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67728
As far as my understanding, angels were perfect creations...created as servants of God, messengers of God, in the image of God....We humans have to choose all that and believe that all that is true for us...My only problem is that Satan himself was an angel who fell from Grace which could indicate that he made a bad choice...but Satan desired to be bigger than God...so it wasn't so much that he turned away from God by choice rather God, in His anger, allows Satan opportunity to try and be bigger by winning us over. It is in that very battle that we are tested....choosing either God or Satan...our freewill! Did that make any sense?
20 | 1 Corinthians 2 | 1 Thess 5:23 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67727
It is not the spirit or soul that DOES anything for us rather it is God who gives the spirit and is Maker of the Spirit that gives us Eternal life if we so choose to accept the Gift...just as you were given a body of flesh, you were also given life (spirit/soul) It is hard to describe a spirit or soul just as it is hard to describe God...all we know from Scripture is that God gave us life and God is the Judge of whether or not we inherit eternal Life...As a visual, I imagine God as this huge Spiritual Entity (like a ball of light) that breathed a part of Himself...a smidgen, a whisper of Himself into our fleshly bodies (vessels) so that we can say as He does "I am"...without a spirit would you know that "you are"? Does a cat know that it is? Sure, but not on our level...does a plant? Probably not but because it has no spirit...This requires much thinking and searching but is an intriguing topic...Hope I didn't confuse you more!
