Grace indwelling the heart will be seen and heard by all. It is far more than salvation and security for all eternity... but rather a manifestation of a new creature in Christ. 2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. However, if you will simply read the New Testament for yourself... you will see the proof you are searching for, if you seek the truth with a pure heart. Do not read it to prove a point, but rather to find the savior. You admitted that you were an unbeliever - “I have heard the Gospel and I am as of yet a disbeliever” . What do you disbelieve? The word of God? That is you free will choice, but it leaves you in a very precarious position, since Jesus clearly tells us - Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. The question is not whether or not you believe a certain denomination, but that you believe the Word and repent and be saved. That is the first step. Until you are not saved... you will not need to look for a true gathering of God’s people. After you are saved, the Spirit will guide you to a place to fellowship with true believers. He see your heart... whether one of disbelief or one of hungering and thirsting. 2 Cor. 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: Most of the scriptures are hid to you till you receive the basic truth ...that Jesus is savior... and accept that. Than the spirit will open the gospel to you as you walk in the light you receive. God gave you a free will to receive or reject the truth. Adultery is not the unpardonable sin, but Christians have made it so... accept if it is for ourselves that is... than we of course plead grace and mercy. Adultery is grounds for forgiveness and walking out our vows. It seems that when we want out of our marriage adultery is just an excuse for un-forgiveness and hardness of the heart. If we can't stay with someone who has been unfaithful to us, can we expect forgiveness for our own failings. Isn’t it obvious that people leave one spouse to join another... though that person may have been unfaithful to their mate... yet we “forgive” the sin and marry them. Why not admit to the hardness of the heart and pray for forgiveness instead of breaking your vows. |

I believe this is a prophetic statement pointing to the salvation of Christ... the day of the Lord when each will stand for his own sins done in the body Col. 3:25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. God is a Covenant God... keeping Covenant even when man forsakes and forgets the words he has vowed... even unto the generations that come after... Saul broke a vow made to the Gibeonites... they tricked the Israelites into making the covenant using deceit. God still held them accountable to the words of the their mouth. This speaks very clearly to the false notion we have heard today about the ease of laying aside our vows that we made foolishly. Eccles. 5:1-7 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. Note though that the son’s of Jonathan were under a greater Covenant of protection... they were not killed. 2 Samuel 21:7 But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the Lord's oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul. Rizpah however did not have a covenant... and could only plead the mercies of David. How clear of a warning that we may receive mercy but the Covenant holds more sure promises. Do we want the decent burial when we die or do we want a covenant promise of salvation? |

I believe you misunderstood me about doctrine and words being true. I was quoting from your statement. “Catholics believe the atoning blood of Christ and only the blood of Christ washes us clean and achieves for us eternal salvation.” The words... the Blood cleanses is altogether true... but If as a Catholic, had I truly believed in the blood’s saving and cleansing power, my faith would have prevented me from confessing to the priest, and doing the penances to alleviate the pain of sin that required a term in purgatory. If I had believed as you were saying, my faith would have shown by my works... and those works would NOT have been vain works. Faith frees the soul of the fear for the need of added works above the Blood. What can wash away my sin? NOTHING but the blood of Jesus. |

These verse seem to describe an earthly King... ruled by a spirit being... king of Tyre - Ithobalus II; cp - Ezekiel 28:2 Most of the verses describe a being that seems clearly to be supernatural... one would have to stretch the imagination to say they describe a mere mortal. This is more easily seen in comparison to the account in the book of Revelation in the accounts pertaining to the Anti-Christ who will rule as a mortal fully possessed by the spirit of satan. |
