1 | How do I forgive adultry if it continues | Bible general Archive 4 | teddyhcraig | 202140
Without knowing a whole lot more about what happened in great detail, and being led directly by the Holy Spirit to answer you, I would not even attempt to answer your question specifically. That would not be wise. However, generally, I believe that we need to be able to forgive those around us when they do us wrong for our own spiritual health and well being. We release it to God, if they refuse to repent, for our own sake; for ultimately they will have to give account to God for their sin. "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." - Romans 14:12 The seed of festering anger, Produced a tree of hatred, The fruit of it is murder. Release your anger to God. |

2 | christians practicing good church attend | Heb 10:25 | teddyhcraig | 202137
Church attendance is good as it is the time we come together to praise and have fellowship with God. And also with each other in Christ. From the very beginning of the church at Pentecost the believers came together (Act 2:42), to pray and to praise God and to fellowship with God and with each other, it is a good thing. Now not every church is right for every person, you have to go where you feel led to by God, and finding that place may take some time; however, it is worth all the time and energy and effort one expends to find a good church home. I do not go because I have to go. I go because I want to go. Otherwise I would not go! |

3 | Ecclesiastes 7:23 mean? | Rom 7:25 | teddyhcraig | 202135
There is a vast difference between having wisdom and being wise. It is the difference between theory and practical application of that theory. He said, I would be wise, not because he did not know; but, because he did not always direct himself wisely according to that which he knew. If you just look at how he married many wifes, and did that which was sinful in the sight of God, you will understand what it is saying more profectly. I think Paul was expressing the same thing, in the book of Romans, when he said: "For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." (Romans 7:14-25) No matter how wise you are, you are going to make unwise choices at times, just don't let those unwise choices discourage you after you make them. Just be honest to yourself and to God and to those around you, and confess and forsake them (that is repentance), and move on in Christ. Christ loves me enough to receive me just as I am. Christ loves me to much to leave me that way. Amen. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. |
