1 | Has this scripture been fulfilled ? | Matt 24:14 | ssgstokley | 212836
I would answer this question as yes and no. There are at least two verses which indicate that during the ministry of Paul that the gospel of the kingdom had been preached to all. (Romans 10:18), (Colossians 1:23) However, since the the events of the dark ages withheld the gospel from so many I would have to say that today most likely that it has'nt. I believe that the fulfillment of this verse comes in Revelation 14:6-11. These are the three angels which fly through the midst of Heaven preaching to them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.
2 | WHY DOSE IT HAVE TO BE MOSSES AND ELIJAH | Revelation | ssgstokley | 212821
It is assumed it is moses and elijah basically because elijah was a prophet in the bible who called down fire from heaven (1 kings 18:38)fire will proceed out of thier mouths as protection (Rev. 11:5) as well as bringing about a severe draught as in (1 Kings 17:1)which they have the power to do in Revelation 11:6 and mosese was God's prophet who brought about the plagues to egypt (Exodus 7)they are also given this authority in Rev. 6. They only did this through the power of God. I would think that since Rev. 11:4 reads that these are the two olive trees that stand before God that they would have to be sent from Heaven. Zechariah 4:14 also tells us basically the same thing it reads "then said he, these are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth"
