4 | COULD A BELIEVER LOSE THEIR SALVATION? | Hebrews | rriggs | 142724
This is the only thing, I believe would define a person immediately as hell bound. Luke 12:10 - And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. As reguards to a saved person, It would be Impossible to blaspheme againt what resides inside of you own body at least in spirit. Galatians 2:20 - I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. and knowing that we can not condemn ourselves once saved, I'll leave you with the following to comfort you and help give you security with truth direct from the bible. No other thing can remove your salvation. John 10:28 - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:29 - My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. |

5 | BAPTISIM OF THE DEAD | NT general Archive 1 | rriggs | 142723
Absolutely not, it was a question for us to answer logically asked by the apostle Paul. To baptise means to dunk deep in water. If you don't rise again out of that water what purpose would that accomplish? That's the conclusion I think is being asked of the reader. I know I'm being asked a question not being told a statement or fact. Look at the context of the verse also. We know there is a possibility of this being done as a practice by a group of people, a church congregation, etc..., but the question requires us to come up with an acceptable answer. In other words ask yourself questions, to see if the practice equals truth, or false doctrine. It is required of us. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. |
