1 | HELP | Ps 46:1 | puzzler-4-6 | 174934
2 Corinthians 7:9 yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 2 Corinthians 7:10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 17For [it is] better to suffer [unjustly] for doing right, if that should be God's will, than to suffer [justly] for doing wrong. 1 Peter 3:18For Christ [the Messiah Himself] died for sins once [f]for all, the Righteous for the unrighteous (the Just for the unjust, the Innocent for the guilty), that He might bring us to God. In His human body He was put to death, but He was made alive in the spirit, If your sorrow has brought you to daily petitions to Christ our savior yes he hears even before you speak. He promises a resurrection to everlasting joy just as Christ was brought to life so by Christs words we now will be brought to everlasting life |

Psalm 45:2 (New International Version) New International Version (NIV) Psalm 45:2 2 You are the most excellent of men and your lips have been anointed with grace, since God has blessed you forever. John 1:16-17 16From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another. 17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. Hebrews 7:28 For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever. Jesus's faith # Romans 3:21 [ Righteousness Through Faith ] But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. Romans 3:20-22 (in Context) Romans 3 (Whole Chapter) # Romans 3:22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, Romans 3:21-23 (in Context) Romans 3 (Whole Chapter) Our faith is put in Jesus final work done on the cross whom believed that GOD the righteous judge would justify him. Because he bore in his body the sin of the whole world even though he was sinless GOD the righteous judge raised him up the third day giving witness to thousands that he was justified by GOD and blameless now his grace of obedience to the father is given to those who beleive the Fathers word. Acts 15:11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are." Therefore grace is what Jesus did for us |

3 | how does one fast? | Gen 1:1 | puzzler-4-6 | 169116
Zechariah 7:8 4 Then the word of the LORD Almighty came to me: 5 "Ask all the people of the land and the priests, 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months for the past seventy years, was it really for me that you fasted? 6 And when you were eating and drinking, were you not just feasting for yourselves? 7 Are these not the words the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were at rest and prosperous, and the Negev and the western foothills were settled?' " 8 And the word of the LORD came again to Zechariah: 9 "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. 10 Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. In your hearts do not think evil of each other.'Zechariah reminds them that there was good reasong to fast for their disobedience but now their fast were a mere pretense exhibiting their own holiness. Luke:7 John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. 9The axe is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire." 10"What should we do then?" the crowd asked. 11John answered, "The man with two tunics should share with him who has none, and the one who has food should do the same." 12Tax collectors also came to be baptized. "Teacher," they asked, "what should we do?" 13"Don't collect any more than you are required to," he told them. 14Then some soldiers asked him, "And what should we do?" He replied, "Don't extort money and don't accuse people falsely—be content with your pay." Mathew 6:16-18 Fasting 16"When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 17But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Basically the new testament says it is between you and God what you so choose and the reason for doing so |

4 | Does God hear Jewish people's prayers? | Gen 1:1 | puzzler-4-6 | 169114
Mathew 10:5-14 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; 6with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. 7Then I said, 'Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, O God.' "[a] 8First he said, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them" (although the law required them to be made). 9Then he said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will." He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. 13Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool, 14because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. |

Isaiah 40:31 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Their have two foveav,or center of focus, in eyesight making them able to see both forward and to the side at the same time. In flight 10000 feet above the air can see approximately 3 miles. Their large size makes them have few enemies. Eagles mate and stay with that mate for life but apon death will find another mate. The great size of the eagle allows it to soar while SMALLER BIRDS ARE ROCKED AND TILTED BY THE AIR FLOW. Jesus is our strength as he submitted to the Father's will so must we. |

Submission to Rulers and Masters 1 Peter 2:13-25 13Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, 14or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. 16Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. 17Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king. 18Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh. 19For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God. 20But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 21To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 22"He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth."[e] 23When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. 24He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 25For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. We are a chosen people - witnesses that God has revealed himself. Is 43:11-12 |

11 | How should we view God's righteousness? | Eph 6:14 | puzzler-4-6 | 161717
1 Thessalonians 5:8 8But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. Ephesians 6:14 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, Jesus is the head we are putting our hope in his righteousness his perfection. Even after we accept Christ we still have pride but our pride should be in what Christ has done nothing of our own. When the early Christians were crucified for their testimony they begged for others even their persecutors to come to the knowledge of Christ's love, thereby exhibiting Christ's love and his faith. The helmet is our head whereby our thoughts come from. Yes, they should be taken together to get the full view, the truth of the scripture isn't easy to swallow. Mark 8:34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. |

12 | Is Jesus a role model for us? | Heb 12:2 | puzzler-4-6 | 161715
# Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Each one of the apostles was murdered except John who was put on the island of patmos for his testimony of Jesus. Approximately 100 years after Christ was crucified their were less than 100 churches. Now they are to numerous to count. Death will not be victorieous over those whom have put thier trust in Jesus. We too, will have a resurrection at the end of God's appointed time. John 5:26-28 26For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself. 27And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of man. Hebrews 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus agonized over the crucifixion and its agony asking and begging for this to pass but subjecting himself to God's will. Harm in this world occurs, sin has touched all of us. The patriachs as well. Faith believes God will bring about a new world and a judgement for a world racked with sin and its effects. Searching his words for comfort and encouragement for this world and prayer to overcome our own wickedness and shortcomings, we will in this world always need to grow spiritually. We always need the law to avert pride which was the sin of Babel who thought they could do it themselves (just like us) and the gospel to comfort us that Jesus is and will be the only one sinless. But our belief in him is our justification. |

Numbers 13:33 33And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim)which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. 33And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. Numbers 13:22 22And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.) Defeated by Joshua and Caleb Joshua 14:6-15 6Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the LORD said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea. 7Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart. 8Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God. 9And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God. 10And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. 11As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in. 12Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said. 13And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance. 14Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel. 15And the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. Are you aware that the general anethesia is made of the mustard seed? Matthew 13:31-32 He told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches." Acts 17:24-28 24"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. 25And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. 26From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. 27God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 28'For in him we live and move and have our being.' 20 | what is the cross symbolic of. | Rom 5:1 | puzzler-4-6 | 161319
17For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17 As the tree that cursed us now the very tree is brought under the curse of God to reconcile us to GOD. Paradise and a better life are promise to the Second Adam (JESUS CHRIST) who from the tree of the cross gives forgiveness, life and salvation. Ad Adam took Eve to himself and confessed This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh Gen 2:23 so our Lord takes us to Himself in Holy Baptism, Wherein we become united with his flesh and with his bone. In spite of the bitter suffering which he endured for his church no bone in his body was broken. This physical reality in his crucifixion gives testimony to the great truth that those who cling to him will be saved. He who believes and is baptised will be saved Mark 16:16 |
