Isa 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. Isa 45:21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. The above scriptures in Isaiah declares that thereis no God or Saviour except him and that no other will be formed. Isa 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. The above scripture declares that every knee shall bow to God and the below verse states that every knee shall bow to Jesus. Will every knee bow to both? To me this was very misleading for a while. Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; A very condensed explaination of a bible study I made a few years ago. 2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. What this verse is telling me God and Christ became one, Like, body and soul. Another way I look at it is that Jesus was the man that God became. Now look at another scripture. Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus became the only physical part of the Godhead Webster gives the defination of Godhead as, THE SUPREME DIETY. Jesus has became the physical part of the one supreme diety. Mt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. All power is in the hands of Jesus for the purpose of defeating sin. By man came sin into the world and by man sin will be defeated. When this is accomplished then 1 Cor 15:27-28. Jesus will reign in the new Jerusalem as King of the redeemed of the earth, still part of the Supreme Diety and the omnipresent spirit will reign over the universe. This is basically my thoughts but many other scripture could be presented |
