1 | Placing more burdens on you? | 1 Corinthians | mking | 171752
No, I don't know where the scripture is in the bible off hand but, it does say that He will not put on you more than you can bear. Remember God does not want us to suffer. God doesn't put in us of bad, it is of good that he puts into us. He is merciful and giving. Why would He place more burdens on us than we can take. God knows our limits more than we can know. We have to keep going knowing that we will be delivered soon. You know most of the time we put burdens on ourselves when there is no need to. God wants peace, joy, and everlasting life for us. Thanks, God Bless mking |

2 | What is the meaning of this statement | Ps 116:15 | mking | 171432
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones. Psalms 116:15 In my New International Version, Application Study Bible, the study says: God stays close to us even in death. When someone we love is nearing death, we may become angry and feel abandoned. But believers(saints) are precious to God, and he carefully chooses the time when they will be called into his presence. Let this truth provide comfort when you've lose a loved one. God sees, and each life is valuable to him (see Jesus' statement in Matthew 10:29). (Matthew 10:29) "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father." Jesus said that God is aware of everything that happens even to sparrows, and you are far more valuable to him than they are. You are so valuable that God sent his only Son to die for you. Because God places such value on you, you need never fear personal threats or difficult trials. These can't shake God's love or dislodge his Spirit from within you. There is a reference to this scripture that takes me back to Psalms 72:14. It says, "He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight." God cares for the needy, the afflicted, and the weak because they are precious to him. If God feels so strongly about these needy ones and loves them so deeply, how can we ignore their plight(A situation, especially a bad or unfortunate one)? Examine what you are doing to reach out with God's love-are you ignoring their plight or are you meeting their needs? I hope this helps you. May God bless you and keep you from harm. With love, Michelle |
