1 | Do God love everyone or not? | John 3:16 | jonathan_edwards | 176087
about the different level of intimacy that God has with His people, John 17, while Jesus is praying to the Father before Judas betrays Him, He makes it a point to pray for His people or "those whom You(the Father) have given Me" v.8 and in verse 9 He clearly states that He is NOT praying for the world. does this mean He does not love them? no. it is just different degrees of love. we are to love our neighbors, or the homeless, or whomever. but it is not the same love we share with brothers and sisters in Christ. God loves them but not as children. only in Christ are we adopted as children and loved as such. and you can look through your Bible as well on this one, that God is only referred to as Father to those whom believe or are in Christ. in one sense He loves His creation because He made it and it was good (Genesis). but on the other hand, man chose to disobey God and now all creation is under the taint of sin.(Genesis, Romans 5:18-19) grace, peace and understanding to you through the Holy Spirit |

2 | what can God do against man's free will? | Bible general Archive 3 | jonathan_edwards | 176075
hmm...first i must see that man has a "free-will". what i see in the bible is that man has a will that is in bondage, not free. that he is willfully an enemy of God. this is the theme throughout the entire bible. read the story of moses and pharoah for one of many examples.
