1 | who today can perform miracles? | 1 Cor 12:10 | janjan | 104896
Hebrews 13:8 Declares that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever". It was Jesus that called the church, the apostles and sent them out. In Matt. 10-- He told them to heal the sick and even to raise the dead amongst many other things. In Romans 12, we are told about the great body that we are a part of. We all have different gifts and callings in our lives but yes, it is so clear that not only did miracles happen but they still do. It is God who they come from but it is his body that He flows through to bring them. Romans 11 : 20 The gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
2 | Don't associate with Christians who sin? | 1 Cor 5:11 | janjan | 104890
Jesus is our best example. He spent three years with His disciples. Among these men was one whom Jesus says was a betrayer and that it would have been better if he had never been born- Matt. 26. Jesus not only spent time with him, he was one of the men that Jesus had sent out to minister- Jesus knew Judas, and knew what was in his heart. Jesus was eating with Judas as He talked about His betrayal. Yet you see Jesus had three in the inner circle (close friends) Judas was not one of them. We need to be friends to those whom Jesus places around us and always be like Jesus was and still is " A FRIEND TO THE SINNERS" . But ask the Holy Spirit to show us who to have in our inner circle to confide in and pray with and trust. |
